Today it rained, the grey clouds covered the sun blocking its sun rays. Which I was so used to waking up to in the morning. The sun used to shine in my face to show me that I made it to another day. Now the grey clouds casts dark shadows on to my curtains. Creating Figures of darkness reminding me of the night before. The night before....
"where's the sun? Sunshine boy" I could hear the content in his voice.
"it's raining today" I said. I had some how made from my bed to the window sill and there I stood watching the rain drops pound against the window. The rain seemed so loud to me are maybe my head was still swimming from the night before.
"why are you all the way over there" his voice feel like sharp glass as it reached my ears, his words traveled through my body leaving cuts and bruises.
"I...I'm just......I need a Advil" I strutted as my words trembled from my lips.
"look about last night...."
"stop". Is all I said before leaving the room. I walked into the bright light of the bathroom. I made sure to close and lock the door. I stood in front of that Mirror looking at the hopeless figure that seemed to have my face. My face.....My face I hadn't looked in the Mirror since last night.
Now in the light of the bathroom I can see my face. My eye was swollen and black it was almost closed. My cheeks were red covered in bruises. My lip was swollen and caked with dry blood. I began to cry softly to myself. How did I get here? How did this happen ? I slide my back against the wall until I was on the floor. My head was pounding but I couldn't stop the tears.
"Sunny?" His voice invaded my thoughts. Get it together sunny pull yourself together. "Yeah Give Me A Second" I Said as I began to wipe my tears. "I'm leaving for work soon will you have breakfast with me" his voice sounded so soft and sweet. Maybe the storms over at least for now I sighed. I Stood and opened the door. He greeted me with a smile his green eyes sparkling. I turned my head as he slide his hand into mines. We walked into the kitchen there was sausage, bacon, eggs, and waffles. One plate with a side orange juice. "I have to go enjoy" he said as he kissed my forehead. I sat there quietly until I heard "i'll be home early tonight don't just sit around. I love you sunny". He walked out and I was finally alone. "You know sunny your my sunshine boy" I used to giggle as he rubbed his soft hands across my back. "Sunshine boy you light up my world" I smiled to myself for a second but if Xavier knew what I was thinking he would well I guess it would be worse then the night before.
