Rays cold hands slid under the fabric of my shirt, sliding over my hips. I shivered in response about to pull away but Ray pulled be against him. My back pressed against his chest making my muscles relax.
Lowering his head, Rays lips kissed my shoulder briefly.
"How you feelin'?" He mumbles against my skin.
"Suprisingly better" I sighed.
"Why you say that?" I stayed silent for a bit. Letting the question linger in the air before letting my answer spill from my lips.
"He called, Ray..."
Rays arms tightened around me, his muscles tensing.
"What'd he say? ...What did you say?"
" I didn't say anything. I let it go to voicemail. But now I'm worried cause he might come here." I explained, turning in his arms.
"He won't" Ray answered short and stern.
"But-"
"But nothing Hazel. That man is not stepping within a mile from you. I wont let it happen. He could go rot in hell for all I care." He sneered.
I winced at Rays comment. There was no way I'm getting out of this. Not with Rays determination.
