my mom somehow held me in for 42 weeks. I was not alone though, I had a twin as well. she was the bigger one. 1/2 a pound and about 3 inches longer. she was born before me and I came not to long after. we were rushed away being only 5 pounds and 5 and a half. as we were pulled away we fought for our lives. I has swallowed fluids, and had a heart murmur. my twin was much more lucky, just a little small.

12 hours after being born we didn't know what was going to come.

"aren't they beautiful?"

" wow someone is lucky"

"did you hear about their mom?"

" she just left them. no word of why she just got up and left"

" we can try their grandma? shes been sleeping outside in the lobby all day."

beep beep beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeep......

the sound of heart machines filled the air but it wasn't mine. if its not mine then who could it be?

" crash cart somebody"

" come on sweetie you were doing so good"

" come on come on. what in the world happened?"

no one knew. 15 hours after being born my twin sister of 9 months had died. not even a name yet.

" mrs. rain your grand daughter still has not received her name"

" well do I get the option of naming them? isn't that their moms job?"

" well being as we now have a death we need a name to write on the birth certificate and the death certificate"

" kilyn marie, and for you precious girl, Milyn Ray"
