7 year old Johnny Appler hid behind the big Boulder in Capsize Park, awaiting Sarah Mcllelen to find him. He and Sarah were playing hide n' seek. Sarah stood facing a tree and was supposed to count to 30. While Sarah was doing said counting, Johnny's mother was sitting on the bench, watching the children play last he saw.

He was behind the boulder for some time now, almost 15 minutes and he was supposed to leave at exactly 3:00 or he'll get the spankings, and he doesn't want that. He picked up a nearby stick and started drawing in the dirt, waiting for Sarah to find him so he can be the seeker. He drew an oval in the dirt and started to add eyes. He drew the stick body and arms and legs, creating a stick figure with no emotion.

Once he drew the smile, he heard strange noises behind the Boulder. Being a 7 year old kid, his curiosity was huge, so stood up and walked around the Boulder to see what the noises were.

He saw Sarah laying motionless on the ground near the tree, a big red spot blotched on her pink sleeping beauty t-shirt. Johnny ran over to her and bent over the dead body.

"Sarah!" He exclaimed, bending over the body, shaking her shoulders. Sarah was his best friend, his only friend at that. He kept shaking her shoulder roughly, that is until he saw the reason behind Sarah's bloody "accident".

A man stood roughly 20 yards away, wielding a double-edge katana, slashing at a person walking their dog, their dog sliced to pieces. Johnny let out a shriek at the amount of blood pooling sound the dead man and his best friend.

The man's head snapped over to the child who let out said shriek, his katana lodged in the man's gullet. He slowly pulled his sword and and started running towards the kid.

The fight or flight instinct kicked in and Johnny started running away. He noticed his mother reading a book on the bench, oblivious to the blood bath rage was occurring right in front of her. The child started screaming at his mother, wanting to be in her protection from the horrible man.

Johnny was 10 feet away, right next to the Boulder where he was initially hiding before he felt a blinding white pain sear through his stomach. He was screaming incoherent words as he saw the gleaning sliver sword coated in blood protruding from his lower 7 year old abdomen. He never felt this much pain ever. The most painful thing he's ever felt was when he broke his arm falling off the jungle gym at his school playground.

He then another shock of horrible, indescribable pain when he felt the showed blade being jerked out of his body. Johnny fell to the ground with a thump when he saw the black dots starting to swarm his vision. He never felt this much pain in his entire life. It felt like he was getting shots again at the doctors office all over his body, but 1 bagillion times worse. He didn't even know if he was screaming or not because he couldn't even move his own limbs.

He then noticed his dirt drawing. Only inches away from his face that was contorted in indescribable pain was his smiling stick figure, only it was smiling anymore. The drawing held blood all around it. Blood distorting it's face, blood pooling around the body, shaping it into more of a puddle then a drawing.

He moved his eyes towards his mother who was running away from the bad man, but was already dead. He saw the bad man's sword slice through the said around his mother's neck., and Johnny now knew the she wouldn't have a head anymore.

He saw the beheaded head of his dead mother fly up into the air with blood pouring of out the body and head like a waterfall as more and more black spots clouded his vision.

During his final seconds, he took in everything that just happened. He saw everything.

He saw the mutilated man and his best companion of the dirt pathway. Blood.

He saw his best and only friend laying motionless is the grass be met the tree. Blood.

He saw a sword in his own stomach, then being ripped out of him. He was surprised he hasn't vomited yet. Blood.

There was only one thing he didn't see as he started to plunge into eternal darkness. Only one that would certainly haunt him in heaven.

He never saw the head fall back down.
