The Beginning

So here is a new book, unrelated to my other books. If you like this story, you can check my others out. So instead of having a paragraph long Authors Note, just gonna jump right to it. Picture up top is of the cop friend.

Bam!

That''s what I woke up to, I couldn't figure out what had woken me up. What was really messing with me is that I didn't wake up to my alarm, which the only reason of how I knew that is because it was dark and my alarm is set for 8 in the morning. I stood up and saw the time on my alarm clock and it said 10 at night. In the end, I realized that I woke up on the ground. I looked around and saw that most of my stuff was on the ground. Then all of a sudden I had a huge headache burst through my head. Although it wasn't a normal headache, I could hear peoples thoughts in my head and I could hear the sound of water. It was burning my head, it felt like I was being blown up. 

That's when I heard the sound of pounding feet and my door was being thrown open. When I looked up I was expecting my friends or someone like that, but no I was wrong, it was these cops that I worked for. The only reason why I wasn't expecting them to bust through my room because they knew who I was. Although on my last job I had gone under cover in a gang and I got caught. That might be why they were coming in, they had a list of all the members names, even the new ones. The thing that caught me off guard was that they had their guns out and were searching my place. That's when one of the cops saw me and said, "Raul, are you alright? You look like death visited you today." I started chuckling but that's when I had a head-splitting headache and I could hear the other cops thoughts and I could tell he wasn't happy having to come and look for me.

I tried standing but all I did was fall back down, I couldn't move my legs. That's when my friend, the cop that was asking me if I was alright, looked at me and quickly covered me with a blanket. He told the other guy to go off to their next place, that he would catch up with him, he left and I kind of got worried, I started to lift the blanket only to find that I didn't have legs, they had become a tail. I started freaking out until my friend said, "Hey Raul, stop freaking out," I know what is happening to you, you were affected by a radiation leak that was set into the air and affected a ton of the people in the area, but it only gave 7 specific people major affects. He said he was affected by it and that it caused him to have visions and he could turn into a phoenix. He told me the only way to get rid of the tail, I had to calm down and not freak out. As I started to calm down, I could feel the tail going away when this strange looking guy came running in. I got so surprised, I felt my back start to burn. When I looked at my back, it scared the crap out of me.
