My So Called Relationship

I let the door slam behind me as I trudged down the pebbled driveway towards the location where Charlie, my so called boyfriend, said he would meet me at 9:05a.m. My phone clock clicked round to 9:10a.m as I sighed and rolled my eyes before starting down the road in the direction of school. As I made my way to school I stumbled and dropped all of my school books. As I was looking around unaware of my surroundings, I saw a tall figure with ashen, brown hair and emerald green eyes collecting my books. I had this odd feeling that I had seen him somewhere before, but I couldn't place his face.

Whilst I was having an odd sense of déjà vu, Skye my twin sister was laughing along with her, so called popular, friends in the background of the bustling school courtyard. I ignored their annoying giggles as I pulled myself back onto my feet whilst swinging my bag back onto my shoulder. I turned around to face the collector of my school books and took them gratefully back into my arms.

"Thanks for helping me out," I thanked the figure who trigged my déjà vu senses. I glanced up from my book and as my hazel eyes locked with his green ones something clicked in my head and I remembered his name "oh my god! Luke! Is that really you?"

"In the flesh and blood Summer," He replied before pulling me into a hug, god I missed him over the holidays. Yeah, ok, he is Charlie's friend, well acquaintance and Charlie doesn't like me hanging around with him. I shoved all thoughts of my boyfriend and his disapproving comments and expressions to the back of my mind and cherished this moment.

"Summer I've missed you so much! Is Charlie with you? He said he needed my help with something and I better not be late after what happened last time," Luke explained. All I could think about what had happened last time. It made me think why I was even with my so called boyfriend. Why does he get so angry anyway? At least he doesn't get angry with me.

"SUMMER!" Luke yelled as he woke me from my daydream.

" No I d-don't know where he is, but I gotta go and meet Honey and Johnny bye," I  gave him a smile as he walked away. 

Now to find Honey and no doubt Johnny is with her. He's had a crush on her since year 7 and does anything she does and anything she asks of him.
