Jia's POV:

I quickly hugged Chenglei and he ruffled my hair as I made my way out the door.

I walked to me and Chenle's usual meeting place and waited for a few minutes, before he arrived.

"Are you ready to learn some Korean words?" I cheered, making him laugh and he shrugged.

"I guess.."

"Say something in Korean." I poked his shoulder making him shake his head.

"I'm really not that good yet.." I pinched his cheek, making him whine and slap my hand away.

"Of course, you're good!" He gave me a smile before clearing his throat, making me laugh.

"I'll.. Work hard!" It was a simple, yet cute sentence and I couldn't help but pinch his cheek again.

"Stop it!" He whined and pinched my cheeks as well, making me squeal.

"That hurts!" I laughed before slapping his hand away and we started walking again.

"We need to stop, I don't want to be late!" I laughed as we both sped up.

"What subjects do we have today?" He asked and I shrugged as I kept looking forward.

"Social studies, math, Korean, and I don't know." I laughed as he let out a quiet chuckle and silent took over.

"What did he say?" Chenle whispered to me and I translated what the teacher had told us and he nodded.

"Thank you, my little translator!" He laughed as he began his work and I pushed him slightly with a smile on my face.

"Do you want to watch me practice for a bit later, today?" He mumbled and I nodded making him smile.

The bell rang and we quickly packed our things, before walking to the cafeteria. We met up with Renjun and walked together.

"We didn't get homework, did we?" Chenle asked and I shook my head.

"I got quite a lot.." Renjun pouted and I laughed before drinking some water.

"Homework sucks." Chenle sighed and I nodded, agreeing with him.

"I think that's everyone's opinion!" I pinched his cheek and he pinched mine back.

"Let's not start again!" I laughed.

"Are you watching us practice today, Jia?" Renjun looked at me as I nodded, making him grin.

"Good, Chenle works harder, when you're there!" Chenle hit Renjun with a blush spread across his face and I giggled.

"You're cute." He rubbed his face and hit Renjun again.

"Why are you hitting me?" He exclaimed and Chenle hit him again.

"I don't hit girls." He was about to hit him again, but Renjun grabbed his hand before he could.

"I don't either." Renjun replied before hitting him.

"You guys, stop hitting each other!" I grabbed Renjun's hand and we all just sat like that for a moment, before breaking out in laughter.

"What's wrong with us?" Chenle placed a hand on his stomach as he laughed and I slapped his shoulder slightly.

"Nothing, we're totally normal."

"You need a boyfriend, Jia.. You're too lonely." Renjun pushed me slightly as we were walking towards the practice room.

"Nah, I'm not lonely, I have you guys!" I wrapped my arms around Chenle and Renjun.

"If you get a boyfriend, I have to meet him and make sure, he isn't an idiot." Chenle told me sternly before breaking into a smile and ruffling my hair.

"You sound like my dad." I laughed and he smiled proudly.

"I am older than you so.." I hit him, making him laugh and Renjun chuckled as we reached the SM building.

"You're older by two days." I crossed my arms as Chenle wrapped an arm around me.

"I'm still older.." He shrugged as I shrugged his arm off and he pouted.

"You don't act like it." We all walked into the practice room and I greeted the others.

"Hey, Jia!" Jaemin waved and I waved back.

"Hi!" I shouted with a laugh and sat down.

"It's good to have you here, Chenle works harder, when his girlfriend is here." Donghyuck winked and Chenle looked up at the mention of his name.

Renjun whispered something into Chenle's ear, making his face flush and I let out an embarrassed laugh.

"I'm not his girlfriend!" I exclaimed and waved my hands around, to which Donghyuck raised his eyebrows.

"Then why are both of you blushing?" Jeno laughed and Renjun chuckled before standing up.

"Let's start practicing.." He rubbed his neck and the others stood up.

I stood up and quickly dragged Renjun back by his shirt.

"Thank you.." I whispered in Chinese to him and he gave me an understanding nod.

"I promised to keep your secret a secret." He gave me a wink and walked towards the other boys.

The music started and they began dancing, surprising me by their skills, even though I've seen them dance before.

Chenle flashed me a grin as he danced and I felt my face flush as I looked at the other boys.

"You did great, as always!" I complimented Chenle, as he finished practicing his vocal and he grinned at me, giving me a hug, making me whine.

"Ew, you're sweaty!" I laughed and wriggled out of his arms as the others drank some water.

"I told you, he does better, when his girlfriend is cheering him on!" Donghyuck grinned and I glared at him as Chenle looked at me confused.

"He said, that you did better because I was here." I translated to him and he widened his eyes before shaking his head.

"I always do my best!" He exclaimed to which I nodded.

"What did he say?" Mark asked and sat down beside me before drinking some more water.

"That he always works hard."

"Well, he does always work hard, but he works slightly harder when you're here." Mark sent me a grin and I turned to Chenle before looking at my phone.

"I should head home." I said in Chinese before repeating it in Korean while my cheeks were on fire and they nodded at me.

After we had said our goodbye's, me and Chenle were on our way towards my house.

"The guys are going to tease me so much when I get back." He groaned and leaned his head against my shoulder as we were walking, making me giggle.

"You just have to work even harder when I'm not there.." I pinched his cheek and he smiled at me before shrugging.

"I just want to impress you.."
