CHAPTER 3
TONY'S P.O.V
"Good thing you did." I handed him some cash as my payment for what he did.
"Yeah, such a good thing that you broke my nose! It was not part of the deal, asshole."
"Shut your mouth or else.."
"OR ELSE WHAT?! I know your secrets Tony. I can tell Kev and Cassie what you are up to!"
I choked him "Say one word about this and you're dead. Cassie will be mine. We need to get rid of my bestfriend."
I let him go. I went out the the men's restroom and went home immediately to think about
what I have to do next. My plan must work, I need to get Cassie. She's mine.
As I entered my house, mom and dad were fighting then it stopped because they noticed me I was right
behind them. "You're home." dad said it with an expression that I can't even tell.
"Obviously, Dad. I know you and mom are fighting again. You know what? I'm so sick of watching both of you yelling at each other!"
"This is not your business tony!"
"Hon, stop. Please." Mom tried to stop dad but it was too late Dad threw a punch at my face, blood streaming down
on my chin.
"YOU KNOW WHO GETS AFFECTED AFTER ALL OF THESE SHIT!" I went upstairs and slammed the door.
CASSIE'S P.O.V
Almost. I can't keep myself down, someone must have hired him. Because Jake's not gonna act like that unless
he got paid or something. Jake's a pervert, honestly. But I know he can't do what he did to me
I sighed.
"Hey, you alright?" Kev held my hand.
"Yeah,I'm fine." I lied.
"Come on. I know you very well, you're lying to me."
"Ugh, that is so unfair!"
"Hahahaha, I'm sorry" He winked at me and made me smile.
But then he turned into a guy so serious and muttered..
"I'm sorry I wasn't there."
"What?"
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what?"
"That I wasn't there to protect you."
He stopped the car, then I realized we're already outside of my house.
It was kinda dark but I noticed the tear on his cheek.
"Don't cry."
"I just feel bad.."
"I know you don't want me to see what you did. But you were protecting me, thank you."
I leaned then I kissed him.
"You have to go home, get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled.
"You too."
"Hey."
"Yeah?"
