A story about this enthusiastic yet somewhat mischievous girl and her newfound crush. Their meeting could only have been fate because they were tailor-made for each other. They didn't realise when, but them playing around changed to a bond that seem...
Several hours had passed, and neither Alex nor Nora had arrived. TO THEIR OWN PARTY.
I was in my one fancy dress that I wear at every formal gathering, and Kate was also looking a lot like a girl. Neither of us knew anyone else in the wedding, so we just gnawed on the appetisers until we heard the roar of an engine and whispering.
Everyone else who was anxiously waiting for the party hosts to arrive stood up and beamed at the front door.
And in came Alex... In his poorly ironed tuxedo and his usual messy hair.
He took a look around and waved and everyone while standing by the door. He turned to me, gave me a wink, and got a look of disgust in return.
Kate and I started giggling as he held his hand behind him and helped Nora up the short stairs.
They stood as a couple while everyone cheered.
Nora ran towards Kate and I as soon as she saw us. We both said hi and hugged her. And Alex followed at his own pace.
"Hey Lilly! You made it!" He was overly excited.
"I did," I replied coldly in before we shared a laugh.
"He's hot." Katelyn beamed.
Not a second passed and Nora crept from behind him smiling, "Thank you, he's mine." She said sternly.

"That's Alexander,"
As soon as I whispered to Katie she scrunched her nose and gave him a dirty look. "Ew... I take it back. He's an ugly cow."
He gave her the same dirty look mumbling, "Female grasshopper."
She glared at me and I snickered. Yes, I was the one who told him about it. Do I regret it? Naaah.
These two are my closest friends and whenever I talk about one to the other they lose it to the point they'd go strangle the other to death... I know, I'm living with retards.
..
It had been a fun evening until that bastard played the video of the wedding. They all teased me for my speech at the wedding as I tried to hide my face. And Kate tortured me for it, she couldn't stop laughing.
"They're both sooooo cute togetha, they'll make cute babieeees" She mimicked me.
Moments later, Alex and Kate were arguing about who is my #1 Bestie.
I would've tried to stop them and tell them that they are both equally the best, but nahuh... this is priceless. I felt like a queen.
"What do you mean that she likes your homemade brownies better?" Alex asked, "I bet there are pieces of shell in your scrambled eggs."
she blushed. "Darn it, I don't have a comeback," She mumbled causing an evil smile to form on his face.
"At least I did not fart when I was asking someone to prom." She smirked wickedly.
Nora spat out what she was drinking. "OH MY GOSH HE DID THAT?" she exclaimed then we both burst out laughing so hard it hurt.
..
"No, if Lilly ever publishes a book I'll be the first one to buy it!" Alex argued and I sighed heavily.
"Guys! I don't even like writing... from where the hell did the idea of publishing a book come up?"
"He started it!", "She began this!" They said at the same time. Correction, they YELLED IN MY EAR.
The whole evening, these idiots didn't stop arguing about petty and trivial matters. They bickered over everything. They even played a game to see who knows more about me...
THEY BOTH KNEW WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I WENT TO THE DENTIST! Freaking creeps.
I then realised that Andrew wasn't here. Although Alex said close friends and family were invited but... he was nowhere to be found, which reminded me that he has been a bit off when I called to check on him when we were still in Hawaii. This is getting me curious.

"Please try with all of them Tyler, this is seriously wrecking my nerves," Andrew said through the phone, exhaustion clear in his voice.
"Don't worry man, I'm sure one of them will want to buy some shares or something. Don't forget that your names are recognised globally."
Andrew sighed, "I hope so. I really do."
