As it rain, the pelts of rain drops hit the ground. The rain makes the night air crisp and cool. Sheman continues to sit in his car, sitting outside of Egypt's house. He's been out here for almost thirty minutes, debating with himself. He wants to go to her door. But he know damn well that he will have to face two options. One, Egypt completely ignoring him, not allowing him in the house. Or two, deal with her smart aleck ways. His mind stays on option two. Simply because he miss her so. Sighing out, he grabs his keys and step out of the car. He walks to her door and stood at the porch for a moment. Then he rings the door bell. Several seconds later, nobody. He pulls out his phone and calls her as he rings the door bell again. His heart starts pounding more, knowing that he's here, waiting for her. Seconds later, the door opens slowly. There stood Egypt in the door way. Even though he has not seen her in a whole month and two weeks, it looks to him like she has gain some weight.
"Its five-forty two and I gotta wake up in two hours. This better be good," she yawns.
"Let me hollah at you for a moment," Sheman says as he studies Egypt over. She still looks good to him. The weight looks good on her to him. Egypt starts to shake her head.
"No, Sheman. You can't hollah at me. I told you everything you need to know last time we spoke. Like I told you. I hollah at you when I hollah at you. Cause trust, I will need to,"
"And now I wanna hollah at you. Please Egypt. Hear me out," he pleads. Egypt continue to stare him down like he has done the most disgusting thing on earth.
"Sheman, you had a whole six months to hollah and let me know what was really going on. Six months!" she almost shouts, close to tears. He can see the tears well up in her eyes but has yet to fall.
"I mean, look, Egypt. I'm sorry about all of-" Egypt put her hands up to stop him from proceeding to talk.
"I really wish you the best of luck," she says looking at him. "I really do. For both of you." She starts to close the door behind herself.
"Look, Egypt. Wait," he says as she continues to close the door in his face. He starts to ring the door bell again like she never open he door. Egypt sat on the side of the door and let the tears fall down her cheeks. But she quickly wipes them away. With that, she makes her way up the steps to her bedroom in order to sleep peacefully.
