It's her birthday in a few days and I wanted to do something special for her so I got my friends to subtly ask what she liked. Turns out she liked those surprise dates when it's just the two of you with candles and flower petals and stuff. I didn't think I'd actually do this in real life, but somehow I ended up doing all of those by the beach. With the help of my friends, I set up a table with candles and spread petals around the shore. They even got me lanterns and Christmas lights so that part of the beach was the brightest at night. It looked amazing.
I hope she likes it. I hope she smiles. I want her to be the happiest on her special day.
