That lifted my spirit and brought back the 'me' we all had been missing lately. I'm so glad that he is here. Giving the biggest of smiles, I pull the blanket off of me and rolled out of bed.
"Let's go see Kate" I suggest to Andy who was still interested in that lamp.
"Huh? Oh okay" He agreed and we both took the elevator to the 23rd floor.
We stepped in front of her room's door and knocked several times. She didn't answer... probably still asleep. Such a lazyass.
Andy and I looked at each other for a mere second. As if reading the diabolical idea I had in mind, he gave me a short nod and we both got into action.
"GET UP YOU WORTHLESS PEASANT" I screamed at the top of my lungs, not caring about what anyone else around us would think. I was so into the moment.
Andrew started hammering on the door in the loose rhythm of Michael Jackson's "Bad" as we had a dance off in the middle of the corridor. I obviously won. And had a little victory dance...

After a couple of good dance moves from me, we both heard Kate open the door. We stopped with the music and tried to look as innocent as possible.
She looked like a mess with her hair sticking out everywhere, bare feet, wearing last night's dress and an expression that looked like she wanted to kill someone.
I tried my best to hold my laughter, but as soon as Andy gave the slightest of grins... we both lost it and burst into laughter.
She obviously wasn't as amused and just walked away heading to the bathroom, leaving the door open for us.
It took a while for us to calm down before we entered and fell on the couch.

"Nice to meet you, Tyler, I'm Lilly and this is my friend-"
"I'm single." Katelyn blurted out, causing me to facepalm.
He chuckled taking her hand and kissing it, "My pleasure, single." He emphasised leaving Kate with a pink tinge in the face of embarrassment.
This is amazing. She's BLUSHING for real!
"Hey, I've heard a lot about you." He said turning to me. "But you're not ugly... Andrew said you're Shrek's twin sister." Tyler laughed while Andrew tried to shut him up.

Kate and I were invited to a journey by boat which I think is very pleasant as well as interesting. At the same time, it's a thrilling adventure to a woman living in a city like myself. Pent up in a noisy and crowded city like New York, I naturally jumped at Andy's suggestion of going on a boat trip.
Tyler began to row the boat as it was moving swiftly. Gentle breeze was blowing. The small waves were beating against it and the ripples of the water made a sweet murmuring sound.
Hours passed. I was astonished by the view and Kate was checking out Tyler while both guys were catching up together. We were all taking delight in different things, but we had one thing in common. Joy.

We were now attending this "merry party" on the beach. As if the boat trip wasn't enough for today! Okay, I admit it, I'm being ungrateful.
There was trap music playing, delicious food, and a view of the sun setting. But that did not eliminate the fact that I grew tired.
Kate wearied me. That Tyler dude made her go literally crazy! I repeat, LITERALLY.
I couldn't quite put my finger on what reached in and feather touched the wilder part of my soul. Was it the salty lips of the waves kissing the sand roughly? Or the aroma of the surroundings? Or perhaps the ember-red colour of the dipping sun. Andy being there and sharing it with me made it so much better. I'm so obsessed with sunsets. Such a romantic I am...
I looked over my shoulder to see Katie dragging Tyler to the dance floor that was on the beach and just a second later they were doing the hula dance, wearing wrapped skirts and headbands -that she stole from the little kids beside them.
She was being weirdly all over him. It was humorous to the point I was not going to let it go for a while. "Haha," I evilly laughed as I finally have something to tease her about.
"This has been so great, retard," I told Andrew. "It's what I really needed."

"It was fun today guys, I really enjoyed it!" Tyler said in a solemn matter standing up.
Immediately Kate pulled him back to his seat clinging to his arm. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked in a serious tone.
"Uhh... leaving?"
"Ahahaha... no." she scoffed.
