*sigh* "You can't win 'em all" said an older looking man. After a good winning streak, it was his first loss of the night. This is what every participant at Gbogul's Lively Casino tell themselves each night. Except for Carlos Valentine, defeat is not something he tolerates. There is only one reason as to why he would allow something like that and that is money.

"Old one at leesh you shhtill have money to use." a screechy voice came out.

"Well it's cause I have lady luck on my side and whatever you are, I doubt you have her." The old man rebutted.

Seeing that the old man wasn't in a good mood, the frog like creature decided to leave the table. "Sheesh, that stupid old man. This is why I hate old timers." He thought to himself. While beginning to scan the room, his eyes fix themselves onto his true prize for the night. It was a gem called Donicx it is highly desired by many beings in the universe for its fashionable style.

His greedy thoughts were interrupted when a fist landed on his face. "Crap, what now?" he thought.

"Carlos Valentine, I am here for your bounty!" a familiar voice yelled.

"Don't know him" he groaned.

"This is you, ya moron!" she retorted as she shoves a bounty picture in front of his face.

While looking at the picture, Carlos takes a step back. "Well he is pretty handsome if I do say so myself but still, never seen him."

"Well, I'm looking at him right now. Your so called cloak broke with a punch to the face." she replied.

Not believing that his device was broken by a measly punch, Carlos looks toward his waist where it's holstered at. Dumbfounded at the sight of smoke coming out the machine he begins to sweat. "God dammit, never trusting a Boharian Alien again. They are all con-artists hiding behind those cute innocent faces of theirs." He complained in his heart.

While distracted, the bounty hunter skillfully called for aid to her allies using a beacon device in her multi-purpose watch.

After checking his cloak, he sets his eyes on the bounty hunter. A nostalgic feeling began to rise inside of him. Wanting to sate his curiosity, Carlos says "You look kinda familiar, what's your name?"

"Judy Hex, you ass." she replied disdainfully.

A wave of memories come back to him reminding him who she was before but he has no time to reminisce about old times. The atmosphere in the room wasn't as lively as before and he decided to act before things get out of hand. Carlos begins to inspect room before teasingly saying, "Hmm doesn't ring a bell."

"Oh? You have the guts to say that you forgot about us?" she said as her face distorted into a scowl. Judy then begins to slowly approach Carlos.

Sweating even more now Carlos steps back to keep a distance from Judy. His eyes scan the room once again but he sees new faces starting to appear. " Damn, this was what I was worried about. It's going get more complicated if I take any longer." Carlos thought.

Not giving him any more time Judy presses on and says "You don't have the luxury to forget what you did to us." Picking up the pace, she throws another punch to Carlos' face.

Carlos leans his head to the side and easily avoids the punch thrown at him. *sigh* "This is what happens when people don't know the full story, they just misunderstand things. Well for an old comrade I'll go easy on her." He thought. His hand goes inside his coat and pulls out a liquid vile.

Seeing that Carlos took out something from his coat, Judy quickly makes some space between them.

A small smile appears on the face of Carlos as he throws the liquid towards Judy. Judy jumps away from the liquid before her vision goes dark.
