Regina loved the stable boy with all her heart, however her mother was in total disapproval. Cora thought the best thing for her daughter was having power. She wanted her daughter to marry the King. Daniel and Regina just wanted to be together and have a family. Cora found out about how these two lovers were planning on doing this, from the young princess, Snow. Cora showed up the night the were going to leave and faked her 'blessing' to her daughter. Explaining to Daniel afterwards that you have to do what's best for your child, she does what she thinks is best for Regina. She rips Daniel's heart out and crushes it. Regina weeps over her fiancée until her mother left. She then kissed Daniel's head and said throw slight sob, "I'm pregnant. We could have been a family."
