"Bye Danny!" He sings as he springs out the door and bolts to his next class, leaving Dan completely awestruck at what just happened.

He blinks a few times and shakes his head to try to get his cheeks back to there normal colour. Unlucky for him it doesn't work so he pulls his shirt up over his cheeks and slides down in his chair as he looks down at his lap.

Oh boy that Phil Lester.

Dan hid in the corner of the library. He was absent mindedly eating his sandwich that his mum made him while reading some random book he pulled off the self. His tan fingers flip the page as he takes another bite of his lunch. The librarian was sitting at her desk and completely ignored Dan as she looked over the list of late books. She wasn't the social type, which is why Dan guessed she got a job as a librarian, it was the perfect job for anyone who enjoyed quiet, or telling people to shut up.

"Hello Mrs. Brooks." Someone starts to talk to the librarian which she doesn't seem to enjoy. Dan doesn't bother to listen in on what they're talking about, his lunch and book are more interesting to him. It interested him so much that he hadn't noticed when the librarian had finished talking to the student and he walked towards Dan.

This student was Phil Lester, which wasn't very surprising. On the first day Dan told him he ate in the library so that's where Phil decided to go to eat lunch that day. He knew Dan wasn't a people person, however they had a bet, and Phil was the competitive type who didn't like to lose. "Dan!" The brunette doesn't flinch at the call of his name and when his eyes meet Phil's they look bored.

"What do you want?"

"You."

"Go away then." Dan turns his attention back to his book and continues to eat his lunch.

"Oh but thy fairest Daniel," Phil gets down on one knees and outstretches his hand to the boy who clearly isn't interested in his antics. "My heart yearns for thou, and every moment we are away it feels like a thousand moons have past and I can't bare it." He dramatically turns his head away and covers his face with his hand that isn't outstretched to Dan.

"When did you suddenly become gay?"

"I don't believe suddenly is two years." Phil rolls his eyes and sits down next to Dan, leaning his head on his shoulder.

"Gay for two years?"

"Well, technically my whole life, I've known for two years." He sits up. "I shouldn't be telling you this I've only known you for four days."

"Four days and I know your sister is 'gone' as you put it, you're gay, and that you want to become my best friend or more by the end of the year. You pretty much wear your heart on your forehead with a big target. Also that mouth of yours." Dan chuckles as he rolls his eyes.

"What about my mouth? Do you want to kiss me?" Phil asks as he puckers up his lips.

"No idiot. Your mouth tends to talk more than it should." Phil rests his head back on Dan's shoulder.

"You enjoy my talking, admit it."

"I enjoy it when you leave me alone." Dan tells him flatly, finishing his sandwich and starting on his apple.

"Well, I enjoy talking to you. It seems we've come across a predicament." Phil leans over to take a bite of Dan's apple but he pulls it away from his reach. Phil pouts and looks up at Dan with puppy dog eyes.

"Did you seriously except to come sit with me at lunch and eat my food?"

"Well, actually yeah, I was hoping we could share to get closer to being friends." Phil shrugs. "Please."
