Alain's POV:
"I DON'T WANT TO MARRY HER!!!" I screamed as I threw the wedding invitations across the floor.

"ALAIN!! YOU HAVE TO MARRY HER!!!" Mother shot back. "WHY?" I asked.

"IVE TOLD YOU ALREADY, HER FAMILY IS TOO POOR AND HER MOTHER IS MY BEST FRIEND FOR LIFE!!!!! YOU HAVE TO MARRY HER!" Mother hissed.

"WHY CAN'T SHE MARRY ANOTHER PRINCE?!?!" I argued.

"BECAUSE SHE DOSEN'T KNOW ANYONE ELSE, BESIDES SHE'S YOUR FRIEND!!!!" Mother spat you could just see the venom.

"FRIEND?!?! YOU CALL HER A FRIEND! SHE RUINED MY 7TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, MADE ME LOSE A FRIEND, AND STOLE MANY OF MY PRIZED POSSESSIONS!!!! AND YOU WANT ME TO CALL HER A FRIEND?" I screamed.

Mother opened her mouth, but closed it. "You will marry her next week" She spat and walked out of my room.

"THIS IS SO NOT FAIR!!!" I screamed and started to kick everything and cry.

Then I saw someone stand in the doorway. Lily.

"Big Brother?" She asked with her wide, beautiful, brown eyes looking straight at me.

I sighed. "I'm sorry, Lily"

She sat next to me on my bed. "Are you alright? Do you need some water? Or a sn-" "No." I cut her off.

"Alright" she sighed, she had a worried expression on her face.

Lily was my 17 year old sister. She cared a lot about me. Always trying to help. She would get annoying sometimes, but she's sweet. She has a beautiful singing voice and she loves to act.

"Maybe you should go walk around the village" Lily suggested.

The village. I walked there when I was stressed, or upset, or angry. I've been down there a lot lately.

"Yeah...why not" I sighed. "Just watch out for Britt!" Lily giggled. "Gee thanks...." I said with sarcasm.

Britt, I had to marry her. I didn't want to, I don't like her. But she loves me a lot seriously! She loves me....

I grabbed and old shirt and pants, I didn't want to be noticed.

"Bye Lily, and thanks" I said and walked out of my room.

Oh yeah....I'm Prince Alain, I'm 20...

Mairin's POV:
I excitedly ran out the door. "Thank you!!!" I called.

I've never been out of the house, not even once, except when I moved here to Grace's house, which is where I live now.

I walked around the corner. There was so much to do! Then some beautiful sound caught my attention.

I looked over and saw a girl with long brown hair, dark brown eyes, a pink and purple plaided skirt, and a pink sweater with a hot pink bow.

Next to her, a girl was playing the violin. She had a light pink dress, black undershirt, a blue bow that attached to her white collar, a long red sweater vest, and a red and black hat.

Maybe I should check out what they're doing.....

Sorry that was such a long chapter!!!
