Rachel's pov!
Maddie went into her chin stand and I was amazed. Never in my life could I do that. I take dance but I stink at it. I'm a much better teacher for dance than I am learner.
She had a weird look on her face and then I heard a crack. I'm not sure if anyone else heard it but clearly maddie did. She practically jumped out of her chin stand and stood up shaking and pale as a ghost.
"Maddie are you ok?" I asked.
She said she was fine but I didn't believe her. She wanted us to go downstairs. I started to think that maybe she is ok. We got to the top of the stairs and it look as if maddie just lost all the muscle in her whole body. She tumbled down the stairs and hit the ground hard. We rushed down next to her and all I could think was 'how could I let this happen?'
