Not afraid of the height,
But afraid of falling,
Not afraid of the night,
But afraid of what's hiding,
Night light warps shapes,
But reality is warped too,
Maybe the fear is in the secrets,
That the world hides from you.
Overlooked in plain sight,
Feeling very venerable,
What you're doing is right,
But still you're invisible,
Loneliness grips you tight,
Isolation for the best,
Finished with the fight,
Lay me down to rest.
