A story about this enthusiastic yet somewhat mischievous girl and her newfound crush. Their meeting could only have been fate because they were tailor-made for each other. They didn't realise when, but them playing around changed to a bond that seem...
"I'm so happy, see," I argued standing up, waving my hands in the air and turning around unenthusiastically. "Woohoo... I'm even dancing!" I stated before sitting back down.

She gave me blank face followed by a dubious, unamused one. "Stop wasting precious time," she whined. "I want to slap that depressed look off your face so bad right now."
I ignored her and went on with devouring large scoops of the chocolate.
"Lilly," Kate groaned. "You made me concerned to the point where I had to leave those teenagers I was fooling around with and came to see what's fucking wrong with you!"
"Nothing's wrong I'm-"
"Lilly," she tilted my chin so I could look her in the eye. "Spill." She demanded.
When I was done blabbing about how Andrew hasn't been talking to me at all ever since that phone call, she gave me a significant look of disgust rolling her eyes.

"That's so... silly." she said.
"But Katie he-"
"No butts or asses," she cut me off using her famous lame line. "You are basically feeling guilty for making your babe mad, am I right?"
I complained, "He's not my babe and I did not make him mad!"
"Why would he be mad anyways, we're just friends."
She smirked, "Just friends huh? Then how come you blush every time we talk about him, or when you-"
"I don't blush!"
"Dude, you don't see yourself when you tell me about your dates... OH MY GOODNESS KATIE HE'S SOOO AMAZING, HE'S WEIRDLY PERFECT!" she tried to mimic me.
I nudged her playfully, "I don't sound like that."
"Enough enough let's go back to the hotel. You irritatingly provoked me."
The walk to the hotel wasn't that long, but Kate wouldn't stop talking about how I'm truly madly deeply 'in love' with Andrew. I swear she's so annoying.
And with that, we separated as each one of us went to her room.
Hours later I decided on going to sleep. And right when I laid on the bed, I heard knocking on the door.
"Ugh, COMING," I yelled.
"What do you want?" I asked once I say Kate when I swung the door open.
She walked passed me and went directly to the wardrobe where I hung my clothes when we came here. She roamed inside it and took out my peach coloured blouson.
"We're having dinner then we'll go to a party I heard is going on in the bar near us!" Katelyn said ardently.
"You go. I wanna sleep."
"Hey!" she exclaimed. "You owe me that for one, breaking my arm. Two, ruining my time at the beach. And three, because you're such a PARTY POOPER."
"Okay fine, I'm coming."
Sighhh, this is going to be a long night.
..
"Good evening ladies, what would you like to order?" The waiter asked before taking our orders.
Just when he was about to leave, someone pulled the chair beside me backwards and sat down saying confidently, "And I'll be having the Chicken Alfredo if you please."
That oh so familiar voice.
