I walked from my bedroom to my bathroom to take a hot steaming shower. It's been a long day, my mom is yelling at me about little things like always but this time I feel a bit more vulnerable than usual. I just haven't been myself lately, I feel more isolated from myself and a bit more empty. I opened the door to the small bathroom, my feet hit the cold tiled floor and sit on the counter waiting for my shower to heat up.
I hear little scratches on the bathroom door and I open it to see my cat. She always does this, it was a ritual thing for her to do. She likes me to turn the sink on for her, for some reason she thinks she's too good for the bowl of water sitting in the kitchen for her. "Hey, how's the water?" I asked her (yes I asked her), she meowed and continued licking the little drips of water with her rough tongue.
Then all of a sudden my cat, named Edgar (yes I realized she's a girl but I liked the name a lot) stopped drinking the water from the faucet and looked out the window, it's dusk and not many cars are driving past my house so what could she be looking at? I asked. "Eddy? What are you looking at?" As I looked I saw someone. He was dressed in all black with the complementary Raven hair. He was sitting along side the corner store wall right next to my house, only a fence was dividing the two buildings from each other.
I was intrigued. I went into my shower listening to music thinking about him. Wondering why he was sitting there. The store is closed and he's alone. I want to know more.
