Each night as the moon comes up
The pain in my chest starts to build up
I know I must go to bed
And get some restI clutch my tear-stained pillow
When no one is passing by
I cry for the ones I've loved and lost
And scream without a soundMy gang comes to see me in the day
And tell me I'm doing pretty OK
I try to take comfort in their words
But each night as the moon comes up
I face my own hellThey say time heals pain
But this won't
So every night in bed I shed those
Silent tears

Hey guys, this was just something I wrote in my spare time after finishing The Outsiders. Let me just say it was an amazing book and I really enjoyed it. Anyway do let me know how you liked it and if there are any minor tweaks I need to make in it!:-)
Thanks,
Aditi
