"Do you take James Simmons Belmont  as your lawfully wedded husband?"

I can do this ...it's simple just say the words

"I ..I...I can't ...I can't do this, sorry" I stuttered

I could hear every whisper, every hint of "I knew she couldn't do it" to "what a dumb ass", especially from James's mom. Oh and most of all my mother's loud sigh that spoke a thousand words.Everyone started talking and gasping as if a murderer just pleaded non guilty in court. And I was waiting for someone to come out of no where and start yelling "order, order!" The worst one of all,is when I heard James heart break into two pieces. Or is that me over exaggerating, I mean well I did hear something break. Never mind, those were my heels. Just great, how will I run with dignity now.

The air became heavy, with something passing through, and it wasn't the wind. It was reality, slapping me across my face.

Wow, I said it, I actually said it. This is real, it's happening. What am I still doing here...run!

From aunt grace to nana, everyone stood in my way as if we were playing some intense football game and I was holding the ball.

Where will I go, I should have planned this, oh wait how could I have planned to ruin my life. I'll just keep running. Shit I'm already getting tired. Why am I even running no one is chasing me, at least not anymore.

I need to sit down and breathe.

Across the street was one of my many favorite parks, with all the stares I'm getting it's probably a bad idea, but then again I'm tired.

Sitting down feeling the wind brush through my face made me almost think about what I just did, but the key to no regret is to not think about it. So that's what I'll do , I won't think about it, nope, not thinking about it at all, I'm just gonna pretend it didn't happen.

"Congratulations, young lady" said an old lady

"What?"

"Didn't you get married today?"she asked. "Your dress is beautiful"

Oh great, so much for not thinking about it.

"Thank You" I said trying to look away.

"What are you doing here, shouldn't you be at your wedding having fun" she asked

What could I possibly say for this old lady to leave me alone.

"It's not my wedding, it's a bridal dress photo shoot for a magazine, I'm one of the models" I said, trying to keep a straight face, like a model would do.

"You sure don't look like one" she laughed

What is that supposed to mean, either way I'm sure she's about to leave, she must have something important to do.

"It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" she asked

No, it's the worse day of my life, it might as well rain, and ruin my hair and makeup.

"Yeah, it's nice out here" I said

"Oh my, look at that, where are all these people going, they look confused, I think they're looking for someone"

The minute I smelled Uncle Carl's perfume, I knew it was them. Where am I gonna to run now. My heels are broken, my feet hurts, oh lord can this get any worse.

"Okay, I lied, I ran out of my wedding, and I'm trying to get away from everyone, please help me, I can't let them see me, please" I pleaded

"But... alright follow me, my car is parked outside the park"
