Does it really take that long?

I am watching Cryaotic play Deus Ex (I think) Mankind Divided and it has a recap video

It took 20 minutes for the video to finally end and for Cry to actually be able to play the game

Does it really need to take that long for a recap vid? I mean the vid im watching is like 57 minutes sooo
That leaves me to be able to watch 37 minutes of the game
