Calum's warm lips were pressed to mine. His hands were softly gripping my waist and mine were draped around his shoulders. We had been in this position for a good 10 seconds at least, and I had no desire to move.

"Hey Calum! People are taking body sh-" A random boy suddenly yelled. "Never mind, I can tell you're busy."

The boy gave Calum a thumbs up before returning back to the party inside, closing the door as he left.

"Well that ruined the moment." Calum huffed.

"Yeah." I agreed.

We remained in the same position as we had been in for a while, neither of us talking. Calum's grip tightened slightly as he pulled me closer to his own body. His chest was pressed up to mine and I could feel his steady heart beat. I then felt him rest his head on top of mine as he continued to hold me.

"I think you're really pretty." He giggled, starting to play with my hair.

"You're quite pretty as well." I replied.

He giggled again at my response before he spoke,"I like your hair too, it's soft. You're also really sweet and I'm sorry I'm such an asshole. Plus you're really funny when you aren't trying which is amusing."

"I'm actually just awkward but I play it off as funny." I confessed.

"See, you're adorable." He sighed.

"When I came to this party I definitely wasn't expecting a drunk Calum to be showering me with compliments." I said.

"You deserve it though." He replied. "Except I shouldn't be drunk when I'm telling you. I should have the guts to tell you how amazing you are while being sober."

This had to be the most bizarre night I had ever experienced. One of the sweetest, but no doubt an unexpected one as well. There was no way I could've predicted that I'd be making out with Calum Hood and then having him talk to me as if he had been in love with me for years.

If someone had told me that this would happen I'd have felt compelled to check them into a mental hospital, but here I was.

"Are you even going to remember this?" I asked.

"I'll always remember how great you are." He gushed.

"No, I mean will you remember this moment. Or will I return to school only to find that you're treating me the same way you always have?" I questioned.

I knew it was unlikely for a drunk person to remember their drunken actions, and if Calum was going to forget about these events it would be a waste of my time to stay.

"I don't know." He said honestly. "I can try, but I can't promise."

I let out a sigh and lightly started to get out of Calum's embrace.

"What are you doing?" He asked sadly.

"If you're going to forget and then continue to be an asshole to me, then I think it's just best if I leave." I said.

"But I don't want you to. I like you." He said meekly.

"Then prove it." I challenged.

Did he mean like as in he wants us to be friends, or like as in more than friends. It was much more likely that he meant as friends, but I really wanted him to mean it differently.

"I will. Not right now, but I will." He promised.

He had to have meant as friends. Everyone knows that "prove it" is code for "make out and/or have sex with me."
