Reflect my imperfections

Reflect my deepest fears

 

I see myself in the mirror i'm not what i thought i'd appear

The shadows are absent, no hiding from whats here

I am revealed for all i am worth

100 percent me, but the sight, the look, hurts

 

Reflect my inner desires

Reflect my troubled heart

 

In the reflection the truth remains and the lies flush out

Seeing what is right in front of me, no questions, no doubt

The world surrounding has changed but the person standing hasn't changed at all

Unmasked, unearthed, I see myself incomplete, hoping for it all

 

Reflect what has yet to come

Reflect what has already begun

 

I look into my reflection and fantasize of a world of happiness and love

Inside the mirror, in this future, i'm complete, i'm something i can be proud of

Happy, healthy, loved, loving, hopeful, and full of pride

No need to mask whats hidden, or to hold anything inside

 

Reflect my hopes

Reflect my dreams

 

In my reflection i hope to see these big hips, large stomach, thick legs become thin

I see my future reflection, a skinny me, who's more proud to be in his own skin

Not because of the look but because of the health that comes with the weight

Sometimes i look in the mirror and see my heavy body and fear that'll be the cause of my fate

 

Reflect my mortality

Reflect my imagination

 

I look into the mirror and hope just for a friend

I imagine the future where i have someone to truly talk to, to the very end

 

I look in the mirror the mirror shows it all the mirror sees what i see

My hopes, my dreams, my imagination, my truth, my future, my rise, and my fall
