My breathing is rapid and unsteady. There's a unbearable burning feeling in all my leg muscles. I try to wipe my watering eyes from the blinding cold. I'm running from an Orc that had gotten on my trail a while back in Larkston pass. God I hate the mortals, if only I had my powers right now. Stupid curse. I am suddenly jolted back from what looks like a log. The cloak i'm wearing got stuck on some protruding branch attached to a log that had recently fallen. I strain my ears to listen to my pursuer behind me. I hear the cry of chase not that far behind. Close, . . . to close. I release the particles connecting my cloak to the branch and it disappears in a purple - blue shaded dust. And the cloud slowly evaporates into my ear microchip. I'm suddenly running again looking back for only a second, and squeak from how close the Orc had gotten. I start into a deadly paced run. I begin to process a plan in my head. Maybe if I get up to that smaller cliff below the mountain I can finally activate my gravity shoes. I develop a gas bomb from the microchip in my hand. I'm panting from sprinting for so long, I really need to get back on my workout training routine. Once the bomb is formed I press the activator and drop it on the ground as I quickly dart by.
I wait a couple of seconds and dart behind the nearest tree. I turn around to the point to where I can see the male orc as he is running where I just was. Right before he gets to the to the spot I was just at I press the button.
"CCAABBLLAAMM", he is blasted up into the air and thrown a couple feet away. No movement from his body at all . . . Good. The gas from the bomb dissipates into thin air. i slowly back up quietly to make sure i'm not going to be followed. As soon as i'm facing towards the mountain again, I start my trek back up the mountain peacefully.

It was late June, the sun blazing high at Mid-noon, covering the reflective building tops with an reflection of yellow afternoon bliss. The streets are covered in bustling people and cars heading to their desired destination. Areamwyn and Lucero's parents were at work for the remaining afternoon. They wouldn't be back until around dawn the following day.
I grabbed the remote control off of my nightstand table to my right. The channel that was on was starting to bore me. My thumb pressed the button that controlled switching the tv show numbers. As I flipped through the options, my cat strolled through the cat door of my closet. There is a whole system throughout inside for her to explore. Blaze is a white, grey, and black tabby with light blue eyes. Her feet look as if they have black socks on them from unique patterns. Blaze mostly hangs out with me because when I was younger I always took care of her. So my parents decided to let me take her into my care. My brother isn't really fond of cats anyways.
The side I was laying on started to burn up from staying in the same position for too long. I flipped to my other side, and Blaze jumped up onto the end of my bed. I scratched the sheets to attract her attention and she came over and swirled herself into the nook between my stomach and hip. I scratched her behind her ears where her fur is really soft. I then continued to flip through until I got to the discovery channel. I decided mentally that this show was pretty ok and I laid my head back a bit to relax. I rested one hand on Blaze's back while my other arm rested idly on my waist.
My eyes shifted over to the huge rectangle windows lining the left side of my wall. The skyscrapers reaching high to touch into the clouds that are racing each other across the bright blue sky. Blaze starts purring in the background, while I'm listening to the voice informing the viewers what a tree cutter ant's nest looks like.
I let loose a loud breath of air and squint my eyes shut. I could probably take a hour nap before dinner time. I pick up my phone that was lying by itself off to the side and set a timer to wake me up in a hour. After I put it back with the ringer on, I lay back down and situate both blaze and myself in a comfortable position to sleep on. I pull the cover back up and I close my eyes to rest.
A sweet thought comes to mind and I leave this world to venture in fairytale bliss, with a slight smile on my face.
(A.N./ OK. . . to get this straight. this is my first fanfic that is an original and on wattpad. I want all of my readers to know that I will try to be updating by at least every week. I'm now a freshman starting a new year of school, and believe me if you been through this you'll understand my schedule. I'm busy. But I do want to hear your good feed back if this story was great, good, or ok. This will help me improve my story, especially since i'm not the biggest fan of grammar. I hope you all enjoy and please leave comments. It keeps my hopes up. :3)
