New Girl/New School

My dad and I sat outside Hamilton High in his old scratch up BMW with my twin brother, this being our first day and all my dad thinking I'm nervous, but the truth is I stopped being nervous four schools ago when I realize that my life is going to consist of starting a new school in the middle of the year are whenever my dad gets scared and decide to run away from his fears.Now here we are looking outside the clear windows of this old beat up car that has so much meaning to all of us. We just moved her five days ago and already my dad have lady's cooking and falling for him which is usual but at that rate we are going to move in a month.

I mean my dad is handsome, he's mix with white on his dad side and black on his mom's, his dad was a mix of french,and Irish and his mom was a mix of black and English, my dad has the most beautiful, soulful brown eyes and the most beautiful smile straight pearly white teeth he's about six feet three with nice shoulder length hair that he always seem to have in a man bun and he is perfectly fit from all the workout he does even though he's 39 you couldn't tell.

" Dad were going to be late" I said cutting him off and opening the car door

"Oh, okay baby girl, look remember i can't pick you guys up after school I have a job interview today" he said a little guilty

"It's all good" Dan my brother said

I close the door and start towards another school that has no meaning to it

"Mac,Dan" my dad called after us

We turned to see my dad holding up my camera I head back and took it from him.

"Good luck guys" he yelled

"You can say thank you, you know" he yell after us as I walk up the stairs of the new school.

I turned around to say thank you but he was already gone, the bell rang and everyone was rushing to their class, I took out my phone with the information that was sent to me and I went straight to my locker that was assign to me.I stood in front of my locker looking at it by now the hallways were clear, I open the locker and just think, I think about how I would have decorated it if it made sense, I stood there for three minutes before closing the locker and heading for the first class listed on my phone English, I open the door and step inside every head turned towards me.

"You must be Riley, i'm Miss Lily, you can have a seat right there beside Max"

"thanks" I said without a smile to match hers

Everyone turn to look at the boy i'm assuming is Max I walk to the seat next to him and sat, I had a window seat and the view was crazy beautiful the school is right beside the beach so the view is magnificent.

I look to my right to see Max looking at me our eyes met for a split second before I look away. Miss Lily was going on about Othello by Shakespeare.

It was May and here I am starting a new school, It was hot which I guess is normal for Florida but I just moved here from New York so i'm going to have to get use to this and looking at the beautiful view outside this window I just want to strip and go for a swim.I know that i'm not going to be here long but if this view was everywhere around here I wouldn't mind staying longer.

I can still feel eyes on me so I turn my head and look around to see a girl with long dirty blond hair, brown eyes, in a short jeans skirt a pink tank top with some pink flats and a maximum amount of makeup on her face standing beside me with a angry look on her face.

"Why are you in my set?" she more like demanded to know

"Emma can you find another seat please" Miss Lily asked politely
