ROSES POV

"Rose." I hear. "Rose come on, get up." I groan and pull my covers over my head. I hear a sigh and I feel the bed sink. I feel a hand on my back and I pretend to still be fast asleep.

"Am I doing something wrong?" I hear Brendon say. I feel my heart sink a little. He thinks that he's a bad parent. He sighs and rubs my back. "I just want to get along with you." He says quietly. He leans over and kisses my head, "I love you, baby girl." He says before getting up and leaving.

I open my eyes and roll onto my back. I feel horrible. He thinks that he's a bad father. I made him feel this way. I groan and put stuff my face into my pillow.

A few hours later, I had my bag packed and ready. I walk into my bathroom to get my bathroom bag and look in the mirror. I have dark brown hair like my father along with my mothers eyes and facial features.

And no, I did not get my fathers forehead.

My hair goes down to my mid back when it's all straightened out. Usually I keep it its faintly wavy self though. I look myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a black and red flannel along with a black tank top and some black skinny jeans. I hear Brendon honk the horn and I groan. I stomp out of the bathroom and grab my bag.

I make my way to the car and put my bag in the trunk. I get it and shut the door. My mother turns around and smiles at me.

"Are you excited to see your big sister again?" She asked. I roll my eyes and look out the window. Her smile fades and she looks away. I wish that I didn't agree to going to Sydney's house.

It didn't take too long to get to Sydney's house. I haven't been here in years. I sigh as the car comes to a stop. "We're here Rosie." Brendon says. I cross my arms and look at her house.

It's big. Why wouldn't it be? She's famous. He knocked on my window, telling me to get out and I groan. I open the door and hop out. While I walk to the back of the car, my father rambles about meaningless shit.

"I want you to be nice okay? She and Charlie have been going through a lot lately and I want you to be respectful." He says, getting my bag out of the trunk.

"Sure." I say sarcastically. What did they do? Is three platinum albums not enough for them? Is Sydney having a tamper tantrum? Poor baby.

Brendon sighs and leans against the car. "Rose, just please." He begs. "She doesn't need drama right now." He says. I try not to laugh.

"Whatever." I say grabbing my bag from him and drag it away. I start walking towards the house.

"Do I get a hug or anything?" He asks. I just keep walking. "Alright, see you in two month I guess." He says, he sounds hurt. "Love you." I hear him say quietly. I sigh and hear the car door shut. I look back to find they driving away. There's no turning back now.

I bring my hand to the door and knock. It wasn't long before I heard the door unlock. I step back and watch the door open. There stood Sydney, smiling widely. She pulls me into a tight hug.

"Hi Rose! Long time no see!" She says as she hugs me, I don't hug back. She noticed this and pulled away. She looks me in the eyes and smiles again.

"How have you been?" She asks me. I hold back a snarky comment.

"Just dandy." I say, grabbing my bag and walking inside.

"Oh! Charlie can get that for you." He says, talking about her husband and bandmate. "Charlie?" She calls.

In walks Charlie from what I'm guessing is an office. He flashes me a smile. I used to have a big crush on him when I was nine or ten. I mean, the man is in his early thirties now and still looks like he is in his early twenties. He still looks nice.
