It was September 8 at 5:55am. Madeline Anthony was super hyped for the first day of the eighth grade at Freefield Junior High School. Though she was going to miss middle school as she is going to high school the year after, she was still excited and willing to kick off this year with a bang. And Especially spend time with her BFF for life Sarah Johnson of whom she has been BFF with since they were both 2 years of age. She was ecstatic to the point of she texted Sarah:
"So excited for school. Can't wait to see you!!"
Even though Sarah was possibly asleep even though she was excited as well. But to Madeline's surprise Sarah was up and responded to her text in five minutes after she sent the text saying:
"I can't wait to see you either!!! SOOO SYKED!"
And at 7:55am when Madeline arrived she saw Sarah and exclaimed, "Who's ready to start the school year!!" From the car Mrs. Anthony shouted, "See you after school smarty pants. Tell me how eighth grade goes after school." "Bye, mom!", said Madeline.
And with that she walked into school ready for another school year. And that's when the complications of seventh grade started in eighth grade with the most popular girl tried to get her down.
