Lost Girls

Today was going to be like everyday of my miserable life.

Thanks to my sister, Katherine. She was always our parent's favorite. She has the best life ever. Loved by everyone. Popular. Funny. Gorgeous (even though she looks exactly like me, somehow she was prettier).

She takes everything from me. She even took my boyfriend from me! It isn't fair but theres nothing I could do about it because she is stronger than me. She always gets her way.

"Elena ?" I hear her say from downstairs. I close my journal and race downstairs.

I see her walk out the bathroom, she literally looked flawless. She had deep red plump lips, winged eyeliner with a small amount of eyeshadow, pink cheeks, and her hair hung perfectly around her face, in loose curls. She was wearing a leather jacket, a purple top and black jeggings with black boots that went up to her ankles.

Katherine fluffed up her hair before saying, "Oh sis, could your taste in clothes get any worse?"

I looked down at my outfit, observing it. I was wearing a denim jacket with a red shirt, and dark washed jeans with black converse. I barely had makeup on, just mascara and lip balm. My hair was straightened.

I then rolled my eyes at Katherine, "Whatever."

I turned around and headed to the kitchen. I opened my fridge, smiling at my lunch before grabbing it and throwing it in my bag.

I felt a gust of wind and turned around to see that Katherine had disappeared. I was glad my sister left and hadn't waited for me. I most certainly didn't want to walk with her.

I grabbed my bag and ran out the door, slamming it shut.

Once I got to school, I immediately saw Katherine with my ex boyfriend, Matt. They were talking and she kept giggling with his arms around her waist. I then saw Matt wave me over. I frowned before making my way to him and my sister.

"Hey, Elena, how was your summer?" Matt said smiling brightly.

"It was fine, nothing special," I said before looking around not wanting to look Matt in the eyes.

There then was an awkward silence before I heard Katherine whisper in Matt's ears. I rolled my eyes at what she was telling him, she knew very well I could hear her.

Matt then shifted uncomfortably and Katherine wrapped her arms around him, pulling him away from me. I roll my eyes as they walk away and I make my way into the school.

"ELENA!" I hear someone yell and I look down the hall to see no one other than my best friend, Bonnie. I ran over to her and hugged her.

"I missed you so much!" She said turning my face towards her and I smiled at her.

"Me too," I said before pulling her into another hug.

Bonnie was literally the best person I knew, she had always been my friend, and she was always there for me. She was the only one I could trust and tell anything to.

Bonnie and I walked to our lockers together and put some books in our lockers before slamming the lockers shut. All of a sudden I hear whispers going around the hallway, apparently there was two new kids in our school. One junior and one senior. Brothers.

I then spot my sister down the hall and her best friends, Caroline and Anna. I then make eye contact with my sister and she grins and starts to walk towards me. I grab Bonnie and run towards our first class. History.

I turn around and hear Katherine say, "In a hurry?"

I give her a death glare before turning around and bumping into someone.

"I am so sorry, I should have been paying attention, I'm so stupid sorry," I said in nervously while staring at the floor.

"Well watch next time okay?" He chuckled.

I immediately look up into deep blue eyes. The bluest eyes I have ever seen, they were gorgeous. He smiles at me and I smile back. I literally melted. It seemed like we were the only two people in the world. It didn't last very long before Bonnie said, "Come on, Elena! Let's go!"

Bonnie then ran off to their class and Elena looked up at the stranger and said, "Sorry, again!" before running off to catch up with Bonnie.

Katherine's POV

I grinned as I saw Elena bump into someone. Embarrassing herself, like always. I turned on my heel and walked back over to my friends. Caroline was about to say something but she instead stared blankly at something behind me. What is it?

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" I wave my hand in front of her and she grabs me and turns me around. I then grin widely. Yum.

I see myself looking at a boy with green eyes and the most perfect face structure I have ever seen. Damn he was so hot. He had to be mine.

I decided to make my way over and talk to him hopefully being able to capture him with my looks. I then had been interrupted by the bell and I saw him walk off to class. I sighed in disappointment before starting to walk to my own class.
