It was cold, freezing actually. My feet were numb, in fact they had been that way for hours. The only thing on my mind was to run.
The branches made snapping noises as I ran quicker and quicker. Multiple pieces of wood stabbed into my foot, and gashes along my face from the not quite clear path I had taken.
"Cameron, come out, come out wherever you are," I heard her sickly sweet, and innocent voice trail as I sped up. I could hear her axe scratching along the bark of trees as she passed them.
Sprinting faster than ever I had finally made it into a safe looking place. Pulling myself into the bush I then looked out the sides to see if I could spot the devil disguised in an angles body.
The leafs made a crunch noise as I placed my weight onto them trying to get a better look.
My heart beat stopped, I stayed there crouched down, afraid to move, or to even breath.
It got lighter, even though it was the middle of the night, most likely twelve, the area around me lightened a bit. That's when I knew she had found me.
Turning to the side I spotted her, beautiful blonde with blue eyes, tall, 5'10" most likely, in a strapless tight fitted red dress that ended above her knees, red Louboutins to match not only the dress but her lips. Her hair flowed as the wind picked up, her head tilted to the side and a devilish smirk plastered on her face.
"Please, Rosie..." Was the last thing I said, as she smirked wider, then lifted up her steel black axe, with red trimming, and sliced my head clean off.
