The Exwire Exams

(Y/n) POV:

It seems like the time for the day went by really fast. I was busy relaxing as everyone else was doing their own thing. That is until Yukio walked into the classroom and began the lesson. "So yesterday was a part of the Exwire exam that could qualify you as a Tamer. So far it seems like we have three people who could qualify to be a tamer. That being Makina, Kamaki, and Moriyama." He explains. I look over to see Shiemi who seems delighted to hear this. I smile for her before looking back to Yukio. "When it comes to the Meisters, you can actually qualify to be more than one Meister. For example, me being a Doctor and Dragoon." He explains. I stare intently as he continues to explain each type of Meister there is. 'Hmmm... It seems like I would qualify for a Knight as well...' I said as i rested my head in my hand with my elbow propped up. "Hey (Y/n) you seem to be thinking about what you want to be. Any idea?" Rin suddenly asked, drawing me from my thought's "Oh well I might just be a Tamer and a Knight." I explained as Yukio passed out the paper for the Exwire Exams. I began to fill it out quietly before Rin spoke up again. "Oh cool! I'm planning on being a knight! I think I'm pretty good with a sword." He explains confidently while writing on his paper. Eventually everyone filled everything out and began to pass it forward. I turned around to reach for the paper, only to be greeted by a strange person in a gray cloak. I raised a brow and was about to say something until the person instantly raised a finger to their mouth. I shrugged it off and took the paper and passed it up. "Since summer vacation is about a month away, but before the break, you will be taking the Exwire authorization Exam for this year." Yukio explained. "I want everyone to keep in mind that once you are promoted to Exwire, you will be subjected to more specialized combat training. The Exam will not be easy to pass. So starting on Monday we will be holding a boot camp to prepare you for the Exams. On the paper I'm sure you all read about the type of Meister you would like to become." He explains. I smile in anticipation to the boot camp on Monday at the Old Male Dormitory. Rin looked over to me equally beaming smile on his face. We chatted for a while before the bell rang and we were all dismissed. Shiemi and Izumo had already left so I decided to follow the guys for a while. I chatted with Shima a bit before noticing Rin had stopped. I turned around to see if he had went another way, but it seems like he's staring at Shiemi. "Hey Rin you okay?" I ask as I put a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah it's just... why is Shiemi carrying polka brow's bag?" He asked. He seemed concerned for her. "I'm sure they are just messing around." Ryuji says and continues to walk away. I hesitate a bit before turning to walk around. Rin  shortly followed as well. "So Konekomaru what Meister are you planning to be?" I ask looking down to the short boy. "Oh well, me and Shima are going for Aria. Bon though is going for Doctor and Aria." He explains. "Oh my we got ourselves a big shot of a pastry here" I tease earning a growl from Ryuji. "I'm not a pastry!" He shouts, causing me to laugh. "Calm down Bon I was just playing around." I said giving him a friendly pat on the back. "And dont call me Bon!" He shouted again. I decided to ignore that and continue chatting with Shima as we all made our ways back to the dorms. "So Mr. Mephisto made a room for you here in the Male Dorms?" Shima asked. I simply nodded, not really knowing how else to explain it. " Well that's all i can assume since Bon mentioned that the male dorms were already filled out." I explained. They all let out a hum as they thought about how that worked out. "Hey (Y/n) can we see your room?" Shima asked. "Shima you've already been in my room though." I simply stated, causing the other guys to let out a strange noise and stare at Shima, who instantly held his arms up in defense. "Shima you're suppose to be a monk!" Bon yells at him. He seems to be trying to sputter out something to defend himself, only for Konekomaru to chime in. "Don't tell me Shima you're getting into your old habits again." He says while rubbing the back of his head. "Old habits?" I question as I now look at Shima, who seems like a complete wreck right now. "W-WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING I-I SWEAR!" He shouts in defense, only causing the other boys to cock a brow at what he says. "Oh don't worry guys we didn't do anything. Besides he's not even the guy I like." I simply state. Now this has caught their attention. "W-Wait who does then?" Bon suddenly asks. I ignore the question as we soon reach my room and open the door. "And welcome to my humble abode." I simply state as they walk in. "What the hell!" Rin yelled as he looks around your room.  "What does that door lead to?" Konekomaru asks as he walks to the bathroom. "Oh that's just the bathroom is all." I explain as I take a seat on my bed. I noticed that Leo wasn't there to be seen. 'I'm sure he is just hiding now, smart guy' I thought to myself. "Your bathroom is huge!" Shima commented as he looked around on the inside. "You even have a laptop? What type of relationship do you and Mr. Mephisto have?" Bon questioned. I shrugged trying not to think about that right now. 'Last thing they need to know is he's my half-brother.' I thought to myself. "He said he saw that I had a special talent or something." I lied as I lean back against the wall next to my bed. Rin quickly plopped down next to me on the bed, causing me to bounce a bit. I saw Shima and Bon's face begin to blush a bit, causing me to be confused. "You guys are really interested in my room right now. I noticed your rooms were pretty decent." I say trying to sound as nice as possible. "Compared to this!?" Shima  blurts, causing me to giggle a bit. After about an hour or two of hanging out, the boys decided to go back to their rooms. I gave the a wave as they all left. I was about to go lay back down, until there was another knock at my door. I groan as I walk back and swing the door open. Only to be greeted by the gray cloaked guy. "Uh... your Yamada right?" I asked awkwardly earning a nod from him. "Well umm.... can I help you?" I ask feeling a little tense from the aura. Yet again, another nod and he begins to make his way inside. I closed the door and quickly noticed they were sitting in the chair next to my bed. "So this is where Mephisto is keeping you at?" I heard a female voice come from the cloaked figure. "Wait a second... SHURA!?" I question. I saw a smile appear on her face as she took the hood off, causing her scarlet red hair to fall from under the hood. "Yep it is." She states as she continues to look around. "Wow he really hooked you up didn't he?" She asked. I simply nodded and sat on my bed. I was a bit unnerved from her being her. She seems to notice this and laughs. "No need to be so tense, as a matter of fact you can even let your Greenmen friend out. I promise I wont kill him." She says, causing my eyes to widen. Leo slowly crawled out from under my pillow and hid behind my back and cautiously looked at Shura. "How did you know he was here?" I asked while tilting my head. "Well lets just call it a woman's intuition." She says with a cheeky grin. I sigh and shake my head. "So is there something you wanted to talk about?" I ask. "Yeah actually. If you could actually keep it a secret from the others that Yamada is me, I would appreciate that." She says. I shrug before agreeing with her request. "Yeah no problem, but why exactly are you disguising yourself?" I ask. "That's secret, but don't worry it's nothing bad. Anyways, I 'll be on my way now." She says as she opens my window and hops onto the windowsill. "I'll see you on Monday (Y/n)!" she says before hopping out the window. I let out a startled gasp and run over to the window and look outside, and sure enough, she isn't there anymore. "What a strange woman." I say before heading to my bathroom to get the water running.
