Loving The Beast

Chapter 1

KAT'S POV

Hi my name is Kat. Short for Katerina if you didn't know. I'm a senior in high school and I'm also a werewolf! Yeah I know what you're thinking "Ooo does that mean you have a mate?" No I do not have a mate yet, when I turn 18 I will find him.

A little bit about my family... Well my father is the Alpha of our pack. Blue Moon pack, I have one older brother who is super protective over me. My mom takes care of all the wolves that live in the pack house with us. That includes the Gamma, Beta, and some of the top warriors in our pack.

There are sadly only three girls in the pack house. Me, my mom and my best friend Lexi! She's the Beta's daughter. I grew up with her, so naturally we became best friends. Honestly though she's like my sister.

I woke up one morning to my alarm clock ringing right in my ear. Indicating it was time to get up and get ready for school. I slowly climb out of my bed and go to my bathroom. I do my morning routine, which includes a shower, doing my hair, and getting dressed.

I walk down stairs to see everybody already eating. I walk over to my mom who is still cooking breakfast and I grab a plate for myself. I walk to the table and sit beside Lexi. "Good morning." I tell her. "Good morning to you too. So you ready for school? Oh and by the way you look really cute today!" She replies.

"Thank you, they're new clothes. And no I am not ready for school today. I kinda forgot that our book reports were due today and I haven't finished mine yet." I laugh. ''Oh shoot me neither. We should probably leave early so we can go into the library and finish those." She adds.

I nod my head and get up to put my dishes away. I grab my book bag and my car keys and we head out the door. We hop in my car and drive off. We turn on the radio and sing as loud as we can to every song that plays. When we reached the school we got out and went straight to the library.

I got my book report done in about 20 min. Lexi finished about the same time I did. So we decided to walk around in the school's courthouse for a while until the bell rang. "Wow the school really needs to take better care of this place." I said looking around, to what I found was dead flowers overgrown grass and sad looking trees.

"Yeah maybe we should go somewhere else this is kind of a boring place now that all the plants are dead." Lexi added. I agreed with her so we went back inside the school and went to the cafeteria and just sat there. "WOULD ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE GYM. REPEAT WOULD ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE GYM!!!" The intercom blared.

I rolled my eyes and started walking to the gym. I found a place towards the bottom and sat down and Lexi sat beside me. "I wonder what's going on?" She asked. I just shrugged my shoulders. "Oh My Goodness!!! I totally forgot that your birthday is today!!!!" Lexi yelled.

Oh my gosh! I forgot too!!! How could I forget my own birthday? I thought to myself. "Holy cow it is! How could I forget?" Lexi just laughed at me and I sat there in astonishment about me forgetting my own birthday. I soon shrug it off because the principal was in the gym.

"Alright students listen up! I have a very special announcement to make!" The gym slowly started to calm down a little bit till it was quite. "Thank you. Today I would like to introduce to you our new math teacher Mr. Houser!"

"What? A new teacher? What happened to Mrs. Star?" I asked Lexi. "I heard she had a stroke and died. But you know the kids in this school will make up anything that they can to start rumors." I just nodded and turned back toward the principal.

"He will be the Senior math teacher so all you seniors better behave! So let's give a big welcome to Mr. Houser!" The principal added. The gym irrupted in applause. Wait why does Houser sound so familiar?

Then this guy walked out on to the floor. That's where I recognized him. He's Alpha Houser! The most feared Alpha in all of the werewolf world! "Lexi that's Alpha Houser!" I whisper yelled. "I Know." She gulped. When the people in the gym finally realized who he was everybody stopped clapping and gasped in fright.

"Hello everybody! I'm Mr. Houser. As most of you know already, telling from the looks on your faces, I'm also Alpha Houser! So I hope you behave in my class or else! I don't really have anything else to say have a good day." The whole gym was dead silent. The principal came back and dismissed all of the students. I pulled out my schedule to see when I had Mr. Houser. "Oh no! Lexi I have him for 3rd period math and 5th period (last class of the day) for arithmetic!" I gulped.

"I don't have him at all, I still have Mr. Marten because I failed trig." She laughed. Lucky I thought. We both went our separate ways to first period. I have English and Lexi has Spanish. First and second period went by way to fast. Next thing I know the bell rings which means that it's time for 3 period!

I walk into the class room and take a seat in the back. Mr. Houser isn't in the room yet so I take that time to read my favorite book. Chains. I'm reading my book when the most amazing smell ever hits my nose. I sniff the air in delight, Chocolate, and pine! Yummmmmm

My wolf purrs. Mate! She yells. I look around the class room when I hear this low growl. I turn towards the door and see Mr. Houser staring there looking directly at me. His eyes are pitch black. He quickly runs over to the desk I'm sitting at. "MATE!" He growls.

"Hello there." He smirks. "Hi" I blush. I quickly look down and I hear him laugh.

NOAH'S POV (Mr. Houser)

I'm sitting in the teachers' lounge waiting for the bell to ring. When it does I head to my class room. As I walk down the hall, everybody moves to the side just for me! How sweet, I smirk. I get closer to my room when I notice This amazing smell. Lavender and Vanilla. I speed walk towards my room and stand in the door way.

I look and see a beautiful girl, my wolf growls and she looks our way. That's our mate! My wolf Blake yells. I walk over to her. "Hello there." I smirk. "Hi" She blushes and looks down. I smirk at the affect that I have on her already. I laugh and walk up to my desk.

"Good morning students! Today will be just an icebreaker game day. We will go around the room say your name and one interesting fact about yourself." My mate is the last person to say hers. "Umm, hi my name is Kat and I love to hike anywhere and everywhere!" She says.

My wolf purrs at the sound of her name. Kat, I thought. What a beautiful name. I catch myself staring at her. I clear my throat and look away. "Ok now it's time for a part you all love! Seating Charts!!" I yell and the whole class groans. I growl and everybody gets quite. Now first row, first seat right in front of my desk is Kat!" I had to put her closest to me so I can keep an eye on her.

I finished my seating chart. "Ok class the rest of the time is yours!" I yell. I go and sit down at my desk. Kat looks up at me and I wink at her. She blushes again and starts reading her book. She's so beautiful. I basically spent the rest of class thinking about her. Eventually the bell rings and she quickly leaves the room without me getting a chance to stop her.
