"And that's how to do a back handspring. Bye!" Megan and Ciera just finished editing their video. As YouTubers, gymnasts, starting their first year of high school, dealing with 9 siblings (8 are step siblings), they have a very complicated life.
[Megan's POV]
I always feel like I'm better at gymnastics than Ciera. It's not like I'm being conceited but she always needs spotting on her aerials and she is only special because of her signature move, doing a back walkover then going into her splits. I just feel weird. If you don't have a twin, you don't understand. Whenever she falls off the beam I will too. But all that I care about right now is getting my gainer and making sure our YouTube channels are always updated. We have 3 channels: TheCheernastics2, TC2Extras (DIYs beauty, challenges, random), and we upload to the collab channel SevenGymnasticsGirls every Tuesday. I don't know how I make it work.
[Ciera's POV]
High school is so stressful. I have never had homework in 5 classes in one night! I wanted to have a good GPA, so I decided to get started.
First I read my English homework. "Why do you think Hermia's father will not let her be with Lysander?" What is this?! Shakespeare does not make any sense whatsoever, so I decided to do my algebra homework instead. "Simplify this expression and tell which properties of exponents you used: (4x²+5y)-2" Ok, I give up.
I started scrolling through Instagram and Twitter, but of course Hailey (my only full sister other than Megan) barged in and said "Get ready! You're going to be late for gymnastics!"
"Wait, I have gymnastics tonight?!" I said, shocked. I had to do a 3 page lab report for chemistry and more homework for algebra, history, English, and Spanish!
"Yeah, you always have it on Wednesdays! And every other day of the week..." Hailey said, sounding annoyed that she had to drive us to practice every day.
--------------------
After I got ready, Megan and I hopped in Hailey's blue 2012 Subaru Outback and went to the gym. When we got there, it smelled like sweat and chalk. Ew. I love this sport so much, but some days I just want to lay down and sleep on the resi mat. If only I didn't have so much homework.
[Megan's POV]
I love going to the gym and smelling the chalk and hearing the jumping on the floor and the swinging on the bars. I had my camera so Ciera and I could film a squat-on tutorial. I could tell she was really stressed out because we had a ton of homework, but when you are going to have a YouTube channel, you've got to commit to it.
"Ciera, film me!"
--------------------
Leaving the gym is always good and bad for me. It's bad because I'm not practicing anymore, but I know that I improved, and judging by my rips, I think I worked pretty hard.
