Chapter 14-What Happened: Armin

I wake to the sound of sobs and yells.

"No! No I will not leave (Y/N)'s side!"

I turn over and see Armin being dragged away from my bed. I sit up and walk to him and the two doctors who are dragging him away.

"Armin? Guy's, what's happening?"

I ask. They all ignore me. Armin seems to be looking at me, but right through me. I see that I'm not wearing my hospital gown, anymore, but I'm wearing my training gear. I turn around and see a bunch of doctors and nurses, including Marco, surrounding a hospital bed. The same one I was in. I walk over to Marco.

"Marco, what's happening?"

I get no reply. I look over Marco's shoulder and see who they're operating on. They were operating on... Me? No, I'm here. Why am I there, too? I look at my pale lifeless face on the hospital bed with eyes closed and wearing a hospital gown.

"Marco?"

I try talking again.

"Hanji?"

I ask, once I see her.

"Guys?"

I try again.

"ANYONE?!"

I yell. Tears are streaming down my face. I remember Armin reading me a story like this. Where the person is trying to communicate to doctors but she's being ignored. Turns out she's actually... dead? Am I dead? Oh dear god... After a few hours the people stand back. I look at my lifeless body. Everyone leaves but Marco stays behind. He stands far away from my body.

"Please come back to us, (Y/N)."

He whispers, before leaving. A few moments later, Armin comes flying through the door.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N), no!"

He yells. He runs up to my lifeless body and leans over it.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N) wake up! (Y/N), come back to us!"

He yells.

"Armin..."
