Mr. Kingston POV
"OH MY GOD!!!"
I turned to see Mrs. Yuno Gasai , standing in the doorstep with a shocked yet excited expression. By then I let go of Mr. Morrison even though I didn't want to. She walked in the room.
"OH MY, MR. MORRISON HOOKIN' UP WITH THE NEW GUY?! OOOOO SO ROMANTIC!" She waved her arms, pretending she was going to faint. Then she said, "I can't wait to tell everybody, they'll love this!"
"NO." Mr. Morrison said it with a cold, stern voice. His face was hard as a rock. "... Please don't tell anyone."
"Mrs. Gasai looked disappointed. Then said, "Aawwwww, come on. You guys are so cute together!" I looked at Mr. Morrison. He really didn't want anyone to know. I decided to speak up.
"If he doesn't want anyone to know, then no one will know, understand?"
Mrs. Gasai rolled her eyes and said, "Ugh, fine. But you're depriving everyone from a pair of love birds you know." Mr. Morrison looked at the floor and all I did was look at him.
"Either way, here are those copies you asked for." I thanked her and immediately she turned and walked out.
"BYE BYE LOVER BIRDS!!!!!"
She shut the door behind her, now it was me and him.
"I'm sorry about that I-"
"Don't worry about it. Thanks for having my back." His mood seemed lighter.
"So uh, how are you getting home?" I noticed that he wanted to change the subject.
"Oh, I take the bus home."
"Oh, uh, would you like a ride? I have my car."
"No, no. I don't want to be a burden."
"Please?" I sighed at him. I couldn't say no to his face.
"Alright." I finally saw him smile truly for the first time. It made my heart jump. Just then the bell rang. It was time for fifth period.
"I'll see you later then." Mr. Morrison said while walking to the door.
"Yup, see you then."
