Today was going to be a good day. I was going to go to school, think about the YouTube video I would make when I got home, make the YouTube video and sleep. It seemed like an endless cycle, one that I loved. One day I hope my little account, TheAmazingPhil, will inspire people and make people smile, but for now I am working hard to get some subscribers.
I scramble to my feet, realizing my morning planning had made me slightly late. I rushed to throw on my clothes and to my hair looking acceptable before rushing out of the house towards the school. The warm spring air blew on my face and I smiled as I crossed through the park.
I arrived at the school with minutes to spare. The school day dragged, and it felt like 800 years had passed before the end of the day. Everyone at school knows I am TheAmazingPhil but no one really cares, and I don't care that they don't care because in 6 months I will finally be out of secondary college and into the large world.
"PHIL LESTER," I hear a girl scream my name and I stop in my tracks and turn. A girl who looks to be few years older than me bounds up to me with a huge smile on her face. "Hi! I am a huge fan of your channel! I just wanted to show you this YouTuber who is a lot like you. His name is Dan."
"Thank-you," I say cheesily. She places a piece of paper in my hand before sprinting off. I unfold the piece of paper and on it, in a neat scrawl is a name. DanIsNotOnFire. I chuckle at the name. Before heading home myself.
I do not know why I was so curious about this non-flammable Dan, but I was excited to get to know him!
