"On your marks! Get set! Go!" You hear an announcer say.
You use your super speed to run, and finish the race within seconds.
"That will be $50 please." You say and hold out your hand.
Your opponent hesitantly hands over the money.
"(Y/N)?" You hear a familiar voice question.
You turn around and realize that it was your boyfriend Scott.
You mentally face palm as you realize that he had discovered your secret of being a mutant. You hadn't told him earlier, because you thought he would be mad, and now he was.
"Scott wait!" You call.
When he doesn't stop, you run in front of him.
"Why didn't you tell me you were a mutant!" He asks frustrated.
You glance at the crowd, and speed him to a more private area.
"I didn't think it was relevant when we met, and if I was honest with you later on, I thought you would be mad." You explain.
"It still doesn't give you a right to lie!" He exclaims.
"I didn't know we would be dating this long." You say quietly.
"It's been three years. I love you (Y/N), but this won't work if you're going to lie." He says.
"This is our first fight. Most couples don't last three years without fighting, but we did. I love you too, Scott." You reply.
He turns around and kisses you, even though he is mad.
You smile when he pulls away.
"I'm still m-mad." He stutters.
"Uh-huh. Sure you are!" You smile.
