Warren has no idea, what his wolf wanted as he finds himself once again hiding behind the shadows of the trees and keeping his eyes on the house in front of him.

His wolf was extra alert trying to hear anything that was going on inside of the house; he has no idea why he was even doing so.

As it has been years since he started to question the things, his wolf was doing. As his wolf would do anything, he wanted and Warren was not one to question him and it seems once again his wolf was doing what he wanted.

When the door to the balcony suddenly opens his wolf's ears perks up and he stands still staring at the woman that has been in his wolf's mind from the moment they met him.

The wolf keeps staring at the woman standing at the balcony in a thin nightdress and enjoying the cool air that blows playing with her hair and the wolf salivates at the sight making the man within sigh seeing how much of a pervert his wolf was turning into.

Finally, when the woman walks back to the house and shuts all of the light the wolf turns back to his own house letting Warren take control of it.

"Pervert" Warren grumbles as he pulls his jeans on and buttons them walking inside of the house.

*******

Warren lights the cigar he had kept hidden for moments like this when his nerves were on edge and like all the other nights that he was spending being on edge this one was the same.

His wolf was acting strange once again which was not a new thing, but if this keeps going on, he knows he will jump on that woman at any given time.

Warren is not sure if he was going rogue with the behavior his wolf has been showing lately. He has been wolf all his life but right now he cannot understand what his wolf was wanting.

As for one, a wolf never wants to live alone without having any contact with another wolf and his wolf was doing just that, wanting to be alone away from everyone.

Two, no sane wolf stands outside of a woman's house for hours long just to watch her hair fly around due to wind and that is exactly what his wolf is doing, watching that woman.

He would have understood if his wolf wanted some sort of physical contact with another person in a sexual way but no his wolf wanted to have her just for him and day by day, he was getting protective of the woman they just met once.

Moreover, even when he asked his wolf what he wanted with the woman repeatedly, the stupid wolf just grins as if only he knows the secret and was going to keep it that way for the time being.

Maybe he was going rogue with the way his wolf was acting, stupid just plain stupid.

Without even the knock on the door, Warren knew she was out there and for some reason, that irked him as well as excited him.

"Fucking hell" he mumbles as he stomps towards the door and yanks it open in anger.

"Hi" Star waves at him with a smile and he growls.

"What do you want?"

"Oh well, it was rude of me to have trespassed last time and then to express how extremely sorry I am I brought you a pie, well kind of like a welcoming gift you see...

Now that we are neighbors" she goes to explain, looking his way, expectantly.

"I don't like pie" he states slamming the door in her face.

Warren stomps back to where he was taking his seat but he stops, letting a slow prayer above he turns back and opens the door once again to find the girl still standing there.

"Well get in" he sighs opening the door wide open and she happily walks in.

"Glad you changed your mind. I promise you will not regret trying these pies" she smiles as she looks around the room to find a place to put the pie.

"This way" he states as he walks towards the kitchen with her trailing behind him.

Warren takes the pie away from her hand before he stuffs the pie in one of the bowls making her wince at that. He walks towards the tap and starts to clean the plate while mumbling for her to take a seat.

"I was not in a hurry to take the plate" she replies watching him.

"Well I am in a hurry to throw you out and close all the other options for you to come back," he snaps making her smile awkwardly.

"I am sorry" she sighs staring at the ashtray in front of her.

*******

Warren just quietly washes the plate without saying anything, as he wanted the woman to, just disappear and even if he knew he was being extremely rude he was in no mood to change it.

"It's just that, I feel lonely" she speaks and Warren stiffens at those words.

"It sounded like such a great idea to settle down here, away from the crowd at first but now, living alone here even if this is a private place it gets lonely at times...

The silence can annoy you at times and with no one to talk...well you see, when I saw you fixing your roof I was so happy to see someone other than me living in these woods you know" she adds excitedly as her eyes meets his at once and Warren frowns.

"What about your husband?" he questions drying his hands.

"Scott has been busy lately with his business" she shrugs her shoulder as she holds the plate he passes her.

"What kind of husband leaves his wife all alone in a jungle?" even if he grumbles, she hears it.

"Oh no, no, it's not him. I was the one with the idea to stay, even if he has asked me time and again if I wanted to leave this place"

"So, what's the problem?" he asks staring at her.

"I...I just do not want to go back to that place again" she replies softly staring at the ashtray once again.

"What place?" he questions as he stares her way, intently but she just shakes her head as if stopping herself from saying anything else.

She at once jumps from the chair and gets up facing him.

"I will take my leave now, well feel free to visit me if you are bored or need any help" she smiles before she goes to walk out of the house.

Warren stands where he was as he watches the girl walk out of the house; he eyes the ashtray that was on the table and frowns.

"She is trouble, I have a gut feeling," he mumbles to himself as he walks towards the table and takes one of the cigars and lights it trying to forget the girl.

*******

Once again, Warren finds himself in his wolf form hiding behind the trees and watching the beauty in front of him but this time something else catches his eyes.

Star sighs as she stares at her hand before staring at the dark sky as if fighting herself about it.

She takes few deep breathes trying to control herself but try as she might the hunger was far to strong even for her and she knew she had lost it the moment she touched it and now it was in her hand, so close.

Warren growls lowly as he watches the girl lick her lower lip before she gulps and takes deep breathes and lit the cigar in her hand the one she took out from the box he had on the table.

Star blows out the smoke as a shudder passes her body; she smiles sadly, as she stares at the cigar in her hand before she cannot help it and once again let her lips touch the cigar and inhales it.

Warren just shakes his head as he turns away and walks back towards his house in his wolf form as he had seen enough at how she was enjoying the cigar letting him know she had done it many times as well as that the girl was nothing, as she seems like.

That thought made him want to tear something apart as annoyance fills him at the thought of not knowing anything about this strange woman who has now officially invaded not just his thoughts but his life as well.
