I pulled up to my house getting out the car with jon and colby
Colby:Dude look
I looked at glens house to see the house on fire and glen watching it burn glen looked over at us
Glen:Oh hey neighbor
Me:Why is your house in fire
Glen:Well i went to burn that bitch and dropped the fork so like yea i got out because i wasnt gonna die
Me:WHERES MARIAH
Glen:In there shes most likely dead so dont bother
Me:WHAT THE HELL
Glen:What?!!? You didnt want her
Me:Jon call the goddamn police on him
Jon:Ok
I ran over to the house the front door was locked i busted a window climbing in i ran up the steps into glens room the door was burned down that whole half of the house was gone then i saw mariah crying handcuffed to the bedpost
Mariah:Someone please help me
Me:Mariah
Mariah looked at me her face lit up
Mariah:Leati!! Please help me im sorry please help me i can't hardly breath you gotta help me
Her tears fell faster i walked in breaking the handcuffs carrying her in my arms she was bruised up badly she cryed into my chest
Mariah:Thank you so much
I rubbed her back hushing her i walked out the house to see glen being handcuffed and firefighters putting the fire out the paramedics arrived and they took Mariah from my arms putting her in a stretcher i hopped in the back of the ambulance riding with them to the hospital
At the hospital
3 hours later
I woke up in the waiting room to a doctor looking at me
Doctor:Are you waiting on someone sir
Me:Yes
Doctor:Name?
Me:Mariah Jones
Doctor:ahh right this way
I followed the doctor down the hall into a room i walked in to see mariah on the bed she was looking out the window
Me:Hey
Mariah looked at me
Mariah:Hi
Me:How ya feelin
Mariah:Burnt
I chuckled
Mariah:Thank you for getting me out of there
Me:Mariah you know you don't have to thank me i would've did it anyways for you and you know that
Mariah:Please dont give me that bull right now you tell me that now and then later it's something different
Me:What could be any different than me telling you I Love You
Mariah stayed silent
I walked over sitting in a chair
Me:You know glens in jail for domestic violence if i didnt love you would i have got Jon to call the police i could have continued what i was doing and let him watch your house go in flames while you were in there not being able to breath  i could have let you die in there but i risked my life for you and went in and saved you luckily before that house exploded but you know what do i know its just bullshit like you said
Mariah:I'm sorry joe i just...I...I didnt mean for that to come out like that
Joe:Why should i care its just bullshit

Joe:You know every minute i sat in that waiting room hoping you were ok its just bullshit
Mariah:JOE STOP IT
Mariah broke into tears
Mariah:Im sorry
I stood up mariah grabbed my hand pulling me towards her i looked at her she stopped crying
Mariah:I love you please dont leave ok I'm sorry
I pulled my arm away walking to the door she got out of bed pulling me back

Mariah:No please joe
