3rd person POV

He loved him-he always has. The way his caramel, brown eyes would stare at him in a cold gaze behind his glasses during work. Eyes locked on like magnets, causing the other to carry a mixture of shock and embarrassment in his eyes as he quickly looks away. The way he would speak in a well modulated, low voice to the way he would love the other.
To say he is in love is an understatement because in his eyes, heart and mind, love is too weak a word. His desire to admit these feelings, his passion to love, his devotion for Takano, it was all hurting him. It hurt him to say the true feelings hiding within him because for ten years, well, he denied it.
Takano has been patient enough to wait but there were times where, even if he loved Onodera, he'd get tired of the constant denial. Nonetheless, even after Onodera tried over hundreds of times to push Takano away, he stayed. He stayed because he cared-he cared because he loved.
Onodera, on the other hand, has only loved once. (It ended up with him kicking Takano and running away over board to finish his studies, but that's something he'd rather not mention for the rest of his life due to embarrassment and the constant teasing from Takano.) It wasn't that he knew nothing about love, but he only knew a little. His relationship with Takano in high school didn't last long so his experience with love isn't the best.
There were times, however, when Onodera would try to admit his feelings to Takano. Unfortunately the chances he'd get weren't the best, so his way out was to avoid Takano and hope the feeling of love would soon fade away.
As much as he tried to avoid Takano it turned out to be the complete opposite. Takano knew Onodera inside out; he knew when he was lying either to himself or others, he knew what Onodera liked to hear and what made him feel uncomfortable, so he caught on to the fact that once again, Onodera was trying to avoid him.
Even if he knew these things, Takano still knew nothing. He has this desire to find even the smallest things about Onodera and get to know him better than he knows him now. Both men knew that they are unable to keep a conversation going but when the time comes-someday that'll stop. The awkward silence which Onodera hates all too much, the constant denial, the nonstop rejection and anger-it'll all stop, at least that's what they hope for.
Onodera sighs, once again for the gazillionth time, as he reads over the manuscripts and marks the papers with red all over. They have just finished the last prints so things were all in shape with the color pink and stuffed animals surrounding them. Onodera decided it'd be best to start the next set of manuscripts but he didn't expect this many errors. He was quite annoyed, but keeping himself busy was the only way to keep him distracted from the man sitting on the other end. Wearing his glasses over the bridge of his nose, eyes skimming the papers in front of him.
The two secretly stealing glances at one another without being aware. It's almost become a habit to Takano to watch Onodera. Takano didn't do it because he loved him and just couldn't keep his eyes off him (okay, maybe a little) but it was more of a gut feeling he'd suddenly get. Over ten years ago Onodera ran off without explanation, so Takano fears he'd do the same.
He sits quietly, watching the other sigh and groan in frustration as he marks the papers once again. Leering at Onodera whenever he had the chance before going back to proofreading the papers in his hand. Of course, it came as a surprise when he noticed Onodera doing the same to him, but he stayed quiet; deciding it'd be better to tease him about it later on.
The day went by just like that. Takano being more discreet than Onodera with the glances. Marukawa workers from the many departments around were getting ready to leave as the light sky began to go dark and lit with street lights.
