*Meredith's P.O.V*
~Flashback~
"Momma? What's it like?" I hum softly as my mother tucks me into bed. "What's what like hun?" She asks quietly, as I start to drift off. I pause for a second, "Color..." I whisper. A smile grazes her face, she strokes my cheek with her left hand. "It's beautiful." "Why can't I see it like you can momma?" She sighs softly and stands up. "You have to love someone to see in color, it's like.. they brighten up your whole world. They make you appreciate everything a whole lot more.." "But I love you and it still doesn't work?" I whimper getting frustrated that I can't experience the beauty that my mother can. "You have to fall in love with your soul mate first, Mere. Trust me, you will one day.. I promise." And with that, I drift off to sleep. Thinking of the day I will see true beauty.. in Color.
