the dance floor had
filled with crimson red
and emerald green lights.

rocky as the dancing
machine took the centre and
gathered many's attention,
including jimin herself.

the thrill soon came to an end
as a slow song had been chosen,
and everyone had formed a circle
as i stood in the centre.

i wander around and felt
the presence of many people
whom had made my day a bliss.

then, the chords of a piano
interrupted the chorus of
the song which signalled
everyone to stay silent.

bin appeared through the
curtains, revealing himself
with the piano and i assumed,
a piece he had prepared.

"i'm lucky i'm in love
with my best friend."
he sang.

each sentence that he
sang was interpreting
the friendship that
bin and i cherished.

lucky to have one another,
lucky to have loved each other.

the song ended earning
an applause from everyone.
bin walked down the stage,
towards me as a spotlight
followed him.

as i watched him get closer,
my heart pounded like a coaster.
i felt the sparks ran over us,
so sure i knew, my lover.

the lights beamed his eyes,
yet his lips said no lies.

"i missed those times
when it was just you and me."
he speaks as if it were deja vu.

he took my hands in his
and absorbed the despair
in my eyes.

"i realized that, i
cowardly hid my
feelings for you."

"my insensitive self thought that
those hints that i've shown were
for the best, only to have let
myself lose you."
he continued.

"of course!"
a voice shouts, as we giggle.

"hyunhee, my love. reminiscing
the times when we were just kids
to where love is now jittering
beneath us. hence, i can't expound
what my love for you is worth,
although if you allow me to,"

"will you?"
he asks.

i nod without hesitation.

"ahn hyun hee, will you do
the honour of being mine?"
he questions.

my family and friends
shoot a thumbs up.

"moon bin, i shall if you're
willing to be mine as well."
i smirk.

and then the most
magical experience
had approached.

his lips smacked onto mine,
and my world was now revolving
around him. neither one of us
had stopped, only the surroundings.

"finally!"
the crowd shouts.

i smile in response while
hugging him tightly.

now, i can hug you
without having a reason to.

"baby i have a gift for you."
he says, and the crowd
goes silent once again.

he walks to eunwoo
as he takes the box
from his hands.

"open it."
he says.

and i did, although,
it was surprisingly empty.

"but there's nothing inside."
i chuckle.

"love is like the wind, you
can't see it but you can feel it."
he continues.

"the reason why it's empty,
because my heart is what
i shall give to you."

"please take care of it
since it belongs to you now."

it amazes me at the fact that
bin had prepared all of these
surprises. from his sincerity
to these butterflies i feel inside.

he takes my pinky and ties
a red string around it while
the other end was tied to his.

"this is the red string of fate, it's an invisible thread that connects those
who are destined to meet regardless
of time, place or circumstance. the
thread may stretch and get tangled,
but it will never break."

his words touched my
delicate heart as i was
mesmerized by him.
only joy is what i felt.

"you're my soulmate, Ahn Hyunhee."

"and you're my soulmate, Moon Bin."
