moon bin

my silence is just another
word for my pain.

you don't realize that i'm
completely falling for you,
but there you are, loving
someone else and it hurts.

i watch the both of you
from afar hoping that it
could be us like that.

but no, it's you and eunwoo.

"hyung!"

i come to my senses and see Sanha running towards me.

"hyung, guess what?!"
he exclaimed so giddily but cute,

"hm?"

"eunwoo hyung and hyunhee noona!
they like each other" he says happily.

did you just hear that?

my heart broke.

i would be happy for them,
but i'm a bad person because
i can't feel happy. the person i love,
is already taken by someone else.

when it should've been me.

i force a smile, attempting to show
him i was happy for the two, but really,
inside i'm dying.

"bin!" eunwoo shouts,

i look at him and he comes
running towards me with the
biggest smile ever.

i can't imagine myself in that state.

"i confessed to hyunee and
she feels the same way"
he says, his smile not wearing off.

"i'm happy for you" i force a voice out,  still prying myself to be happy,

but i'm really not.

the day went on, and the rest
of us were gathered at the garden
while eunwoo was with hyunhee.

"bin, what do you think
about eunwoo and hyunhee?"
mj questions.

i hate it.
i thought.

"why?" i ask,

it's hard to accept reality,
but its even harder to talk about it.

" i'm just curious since hyunhee
is your childhood bestfriend and
you're close friends with eunwoo. "
he replies.

i couldn't dare look up.

the tears were bursting to come out.

they're my friends, but I can't break down. atleast, not here.

"oh, well i'm happy for them"
i lied.

i slurred the last words.

it's hard to say.

"bin, are you okay?" jin jin asks,

but my gaze was focused on the ground.

"you guys go ahead,
i'll stay here for a bit"
i say while wiping the tear
that rolled down my cheek.

"no, we can't. what's wrong?"
he stubbornly asks.

the more i get asked,

it hurts my heart.

" i'm in an unrequited love. "
