Highschool (Dance Moms)

Part 1

Kendall's POV

I don't know why we had to move. I had a best friend and a boyfriend back in Ohio.
Mom said it's because Dad got such a good job offer and that he'd be stupid to turn it down.
So, my sisters, parents and I recently moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 
Today is my first day at Redmore High School and I'm far from excited.
I skip through old friends stories when I get a snap from Eliza - my bestie.
'Have a great first day! I look like such a loner walking alone, Mrs Putley keeps giving me sympathetic looks, I don't know what she's thinking lol.. -E X'
I smile and start to reply.
'Thanks, not looking forward to it though! At least you know other people. I'm sure Kacy and Georgia will keep you company -Kk X'
'Im sure they will.... Well I better get to school. Lots of love from the Graham's -E X.'
'Ok, lots of love to Eliza, Sandra, Bill and Katie. I'll keep you updated! -Kk X'
I click the power button and pop it in my pocket.
'If I can make friends in Ohio, I can do it in Pennsylvania.' I say.
'Talking to yourself again are we? Come on pumpkin let's go.' My Dad smiles.
I nod and put on my army green Parker Jacket, slope my beige backpack on over my shoulder, lace up my pristine white vans and rush out the door to my dads new shiny Corvette.
Worry washes my insides as I examine the massive school.
I thank my dad for the ride and hop out the car and immediately feel alone.
I look down at my ripped denim jeans and straighten out my white sweater and shiver in the cold. It must be at least below 40 degrees F.
'Here goes nothing.' I sigh as I walk down the frost ridden path.
I can see that this school is divided into groups.
I walk past goths, jocks, artists, musicians, ballers and nerds. Then I see people more my category: fashionistas, cheerleaders and beauty gurus.
I decide I need some time before I force my way into a group.
At my old school I was Queen Bee and Eliza was my sidekick.
Now I'm just the new girl from Ohio that knows nobody and nobody knows.
