True Love Sweet Lies - Lost in fire

Prologue

The main character's name is Amber Grace Stewart. She looks like the girl in the picture above. Throughout the story I'm gonna include flashbacks of Amber's past. So pls enjoy😜

"Which one should I get? Which one should I get?" I shouted, jumping up and down staring at the cameras in front of me.
"Could you be any louder? Everyone's staring at us," my best friend replied, looking at me with happiness and pity.
"I can't help it, I'm just so excited. It's not everyday that you get to buy a new camera. Wouldn't you be excited?"
"Only you could be excited about cameras, Amber " She replied sighing at me.
"Just answer the question, Lucy," I said, holding the boxes of the two cameras out to her.
She pointed towards the camera on the left and I nodded.
"Good choice."
I payed for my camera and continued walking around the huge shopping mall, however I couldn't shake the feeling I was being followed.
"Hey Lucy," I said, tugging my friend's arm.
"Yes?"
"That dude is following us."
"Oh he's pretty cute. I'm gonna talk to him."
"What about he's been following us do you not understand?" I replied following my friend.
We approached the brunette with  reddy-brown eyes. He was about a foot taller than me and wearing a black leather jacket with a white top underneath. I studied him carefully whilst my friend started talking to him.
" a mechanic huh?" I heard Lucy exclaim, " I like mechanics."
I sighed at Lucy. She was always like this. Flirting with every single guy she could see, as long as they were cute of course. I, however hated the idea of flirting. I always hung back in situations like these, letting Lucy talk until she left with the guy and I walked home alone.
"Why were you following us?" I blurted out, staring at the guy.
The guy chuckled "I don't know what you're talking about?"
I was annoyed. I had seen him following us. I didn't really want to deal with the the weird guy so I gave up.
"Well then Lucy, I'm leaving. I'll see you around?"
"Amber wait!"
But I had already left. I felt bad but I didn't like this guy. Actually I didn't like anyone. But then again I had my reasons.
