There I was sitting on a chair, eyes closed, heart racing, stomach was doing flips. I was nervous. Scratch that I was super nervous. My hair and make up all done wearing a nice outfit and all I could thinking about was how I got here and how everything started with one video posted on YouTube. I never thought that it would go viral. And here I am about to go and talk to THE Ellen Degeneres. Suddenly I was awaken from my thoughts by one of the managers
"You're on in two minutes, how you feeling kid?"
"Nervous, really nervous." I said.
"You'll be fine, just be yourself." He gave me a pat on the back and walked away.
I stood up and looked at my self one last time before I went back stage.
"I got this" I smiled and made my way to the back stage.
I stood there waiting. And I heard.
"Now we're gonna bring out a girl who made a video of her self singing to Justin Bieber's Company, which went viral! With almost a million views! Here is Andrew Carter!
There it was my name being called to come out. I was walking out and everyone was cheering like I was famous. I smiled and waved. And took my seat as well did Ellen.
Once the crowd settled down it was time for the interview.
"Hello Andrew thanks for coming, now do you go by Andrew or is there a nick name you go by? Ellen asked me.
"Hi! Thank you for having me. And people call me Drew"
"Oh okay. Now how did you get the name Andrew because I don't know anyone with the name of Andrew and is a girl." She said and which made me and the crowd laughed.
"Well from what my parents have told me that the doctors had said that I was a boy so when I was born and they saw that I was obviously a girl. They just decided to keep the name." I said. While laughing.
"Wow I've never heard a story like that. You would think a professional and experienced doctor would be able to tell whether if you were a boy or a girl" she said making the crowd and myself again
"So I wanna ask you. What made you do a cover of company?" She asked me.
"I love Justin's music and the lyrics to company just spoke to me. As cheesy that is to say but it did." I said.
"Now this wasn't your first cover right? You have others on your YouTube channel?" She asked.
"Yeah But none of them got this many views as company did" I said.
"Well with that said I think y'all should go check her out on YouTube under Andrewsings" she said. Me laughing at the fact that she gave me a shoutout.
"Now I wanna ask you? What's your honest opinion of Justin Bieber?" She asked.
I didn't know what to say but spoke from the heart.
"First of all he's talented. when I was younger I saw his believe movie and saw how talented he was. He could make a beat by banging his hand on a chair." Everyone laughed. But it was true.
"But now I see Justin has a guy making music and doing what he loves and having fun while doing it. If he didn't have fun it would just feel like his has to do it. But people judge him a lot, he went from this kid to singing One Time and Baby now he's got tattoos, he dresses different and also his hair. He's change and I think people think that it's a bad change. But I think it was for good. People think he's a bad guy because of how he looks but when in reality a lot of people don't know how he acts. There judging a book by its cover. But I don't think of Justin as a bad guy. He's doing what he loves as that's all that counts. He has fans and then he has his Beliebers and the Beliebers will support him no matter what happens good or bad." And that was the truth I meant all of that. I didn't hold anything back either. the crowd was cheering and clapping at my speech. Which put a smile on my face.
" I 100% agree with you. And let me tell you, your the first person to have the guts to say that" she said. And at that moment I felt proud of my self and it felt good.
I was smiling like a goof.
"Well we have a surprise for you." She said.
I instantly knew what was happening.
"Oh my god.... He's here isn't he? And he just heard everything I said?!" I asked Ellen.
She nodded her head and pointed to Justin walking out and the crowd going crazy.
JUSTIN BIEBER WAS HERE.
I stood up to great him and he gave me a hug. I was smiling from cheek to cheek
"Hi Andrew" just said while still in a hug.
"Hi!" I said while laughing.
The crowd settled down and we all took out seats. And JUSTIN SAT RIGHT NEXT TO ME ON THE COUCH. someone pinch me this has to be a dream.
"So were you shocked?" Ellen asked me.
"I was surprised yeah!" I said laughing.
So we started talking a little more and I calmed down and was less Excited. But still was excited because hello! It's Justin Bieber.
