I woke up with my stomach growling at me like a ferocious dog. Minding it's orders, I slip on my fuzzy slippers and go downstairs for my daily bowl of fruit loops. While eating, I think of my schedule for the day: meet Perry, my best friend, for lunch, study for the SATs, organize my closet, work my shift at insomnia, then take a well deserved nap. I eventually put my bowl in the sink and run upstairs, back to my room to get ready for the day. When I get upstairs, I notice a piece of paper on my bed with a single red rose, holding it down. I quickly pick it up. How did someone get in my room? I then start to read the note:
Hello London,
You don't know who I am... Or do you? Besides the point, I am leaving you this note, which is a list of the things you must do before I reveal myself to you. I have seen that you have been such a goody-goody for so long. It's time for that to change. It is in your best interest to complete this list. You will not like the results, if you choose not to participate. You have 2 weeks, don't be slow. I hope this list helps you break out of the good girl you are. Have fun, and remember, I'll be watching you.
1) Kiss a stranger
2) steal those shoes.
3) motorcycle.
4) quit that job. extravagantly.
5) go into a bar, do some karaoke
6) walk out of the classroom.
7) skip your SAT's
8) drink up
9) the "wrong" crowd
10) skip school
When you finish this list, keep your eyes open. I'll be around.
-J
I don't think I've ever felt my mind go in so many directions, or my eyes grow as big.
Can I do them all? I'm not too sure.
