JADE'S POV

I woke up at the sound of my alarm.

It's a challenge to rise up when you hardly slept at all.

For some odd reasons, Althea went back and forth the bathroom the whole night.

LBM? Nah... She's probably thinking of sneaking out to Runners.

But why the hesitation?

As if I have the right to stop her from doing anything with her life now.

What is she doing here anyway?

I, for one second, did not believe that she's on a budget and could not afford to stay at a hotel.

Her trust fund alone can give her a comfortable life without lifting a finger at all

and her bar is almost always jam-packed.

From what I gathered, She still owns 80% of Runners. Hell will freeze over before Althea would give up that place.

Is She even thinking of getting back with me?

There's a lot of questions running through my mind right now and I know that there's only one person I could get my answers from.

But I'm not sure I am ready to know her reasons.

What I know is that I could not go through that same pain she had put me through.

And that I am not strong enough to resist her either.

So even if I wanted so bad to confront her, I didn't. I'll let time and faith decide this time.

I struggled to get out of bed to shut this annoying alarm.

Before getting in the shower, I went out to fill the coffee maker.

I got the surprise of my life when I saw Althea sitting at the dining, staring at me with her big black gorgeous eyes and her mouth wide open.

That's when I realized I was still wearing the nighties that made her drool last night.

I immediately covered my upper body with the towel hanging on my shoulders and frowned at her.

This seemed to wake her up from dreamland.

"Ay love, gising ka na pala! Good morning! Breakfast?"

I walked towards her and just then I noticed that there were food on the table.

She made this?

I couldn't help my frown to turn upside down.

Her smile in the morning woke up all the butterflies in my belly.

"wait lang, kuha kitang coffee." as she disappears to the kitchen.

Did She really make this?

I was too stunned to speak.

Another first in history!

I sat and waited for her dumbfounded.

When she got back, she had a mug of steaming coffee and a glass of orange juice.
