Wendy's POV
Beep Beep Beep
I immediately looked for my phone to off my alarm. I hesitantly got out of bed to get ready for school. It's the first day of school and I'm now a sophomore... why couldn't summer last longer?! Even though I don't want school to start I am excited to see my friends.
~30 minutes later~
I'm downstairs eating breakfast waiting for my brother,Natsu, to finish getting ready
"Wendy hurry up or we are going to be late!"
"You hurry up! I'm already downstairs eating!"
He soon rushed downstairs
"How are you ready before me?"
"Maybe because I'm better at waking up and managing my time. Unlike you"
"Oh shut up and let's go"
"At least get something to eat and why are you so anxious to go to school anyways? It's not like you do anything but play basketball and mess around with your friends."
"Not true! I'm actually very good at school work!"
"Whatever... but mom said we have to eat something."
"Fine I'll take an apple to go. Now let's go!!"
"Ugh fine let's go"
I got up and grabbed my stuff ready to leave
"Bye mom we are leaving!" I yelled
"Bye have fun at school!" She replied
Our dad is already at work but he said good luck to us yesterday
We then started to walk to school and Natsu was way to hyper for the mornings. He kept rambling about seeing his friends and how he hasn't seen them is sooo long
"Hey can I borrow your apple?"
He then handed it to me and started talking again taking the opportunity I stuffed it in his mouth and ran away knowing he'll want revenge
"Wendy!! I'm going to get you for this!"
I made it to school and looked for somewhere to hide just then I noticed Romeo and his friends
"Hey Wendy!" Romeo said when I ran towards then
"Hey!" I quickly said and hid behind him just in time to see Natsu coming
"Hey! Romeo!" He seemed to tense up after hearing his tone of voice
"Y-yes?"
"Have you seen Wendy around? I need to get revenge!"
"N-no sorry"
"Ok then if you see her tell her to watch her back!" He said running off
When he was out of sight I started to laugh
"What did you do?" Romeo questioned me
"Oh he was talking to much so I just stuffed an apple in his mouth" I said smiling
Then I noticed Romeos friends staring at us
"Um are you guys ok?"
"They're fine just being weird" Romeo awkwardly laughed
"K then Ima go! Thanks Romeo!" I hugged him and walked away
"Your welcome"
I failed to notice Romeo blushing and his friends trying not to laugh at him
"Wendy!!" Someone yelled when I started walking away I slowly looked in the direction the voice came from scared it was Natsu
But I noticed it was one of my best friends Chelia
"Chelia!" I yelled running towards her to give her a hug
When I reached her she gave me a bone crushing hug
"C-Chelia I can't breath" I stuttered out
"Oops sorry it's just I haven't seen you in so long!"
"You saw me two days ago!" I said laughing
"That's to long! Anyways let's go the other girls are waiting for us!" We then went to go meet our other friends

Romeos POV
I blushed when Wendy gave me a hug. I hope she didn't notice. She then walked away and when she was far away not to hear us my friends started laughing and teasing me!
"Wow Romeo you really like her don't you!"
"You should've seen you're face! It's was priceless!"
"S-shut up!" I said to them
"Aw are you embarrassed?"
"Whatever let's go get our schedules" I said walking away
"Hey wait! Jeez don't just take off on us!"
We then got our schedules and surprisingly we had classes together. I wonder if I have classes with Wendy
~time skip: lunch~
So far I do have classes with Wendy and that's so far all the classes I went to sit with my friends who were sitting at a table near Wendy's
"Wendy!!" Natsu yelled coming going to her table
"Yes?"
"We are sitting with you guys!" He exclaimed as he and his friends sat down
"Ok. Why did you tell me that? You guys always sit with us."
"Why are you so cold to your sweet innocent brother?"
"Please your far from sweet and innocent!" Gray suddenly entered their conversation
"Shut up ice princess! I wasn't talking to you!"
"Hey Wendy!" Gray said smiling
"Hey" She smiled
"So how was your summer?"
"Good I just had to deal with this dummy" she said pointing at Natsu
"I'm not a dummy!!"
"Hey Wendy!" Lucy said smiling coming to their table with Erza and Levy
"Hey!" She beamed
Lucy then sat across Natsu and he pouted
"Luuuce that's not your seat!! You have to sit next to me!" Natsu exclaimed
"Why?"
"Cause you have to and I want some of your food!!"
"Fine" she got up and sat next to Natsu
"Happy?"
"Yay! Now what do you have for lunch?"
I stopped listening and started talking to my friends
We soon were all done eating and went outside to play soccer
As we were playing I noticed Wendy and her friends came outside and were going to sit on the bleachers they then started talking and going on their phones I also noticed that Wendy would sometimes glance up and watch us playing. The school bell rang indicating that lunch was over.
~After school~
"Hey Wendy let's go!!" Natsu screamed
"I'm coming! Calm down!!"
They then started walking home
"Hey Romeo, you should confess to her tomorrow instead of being a creep and watching her all the time." My friend said
"Maybe I will" and with that I walked home anticipating tomorrow
~The next day~
Wendy's POV
I was walking to school with Natsu but something felt weird about today
"Hey Wendy!" Romeo exclaimed when we made it to school
"Hey Romeo!" I smiled
We didn't talk much yesterday but we usually talk a lot
"How was yesterday?"
"Good how was it for you?" I asked
"Good..." He trailed off awkwardly
"Are you ok? You're acting weird"
"Yeah I'm fine well I'm gonna go so bye! See you in class!" He ran off
"Yeah see you in class" we have all the same classes which is weird
I went to my locker and I note fell out it said
Meet me by at the soccer field at lunch
No name was on it which was weird
~lunch~
I was done eating lunch and headed to the soccer field without my friends
I saw a figure standing there in the middle of the field messing around with a soccer ball as I got closer I noticed it was Romeo
"Hey Romeo" I said smiling
"Hey you actually came" he seemed surprise
"Did you need something?" I questioned
"Actually I need to ask you something" he seems nervous
"Ok go ahead"
"I actually liked you ever since I knew you and I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me?" He said while looking down
"Finally!" I exclaimed he looked up surprised
"Yes I will go out with you! You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to ask" I said smiling
"Really?!"he said happily I nodded
He then picked me up and spun me around
I laughed at his cuteness just then Natsu appeared with his friends
"What are you two doing? You look weird" he said making a face
"Natsu! Romeo asked me out!"
"Finally!" Lucy yelled I laughed at her
"You guys took forever!" Gray exclaimed
"What are you talking about?" I asked
"We all knew you both liked eachother. You guys just take forever to confess!" Natsu exclaimed laughing like a maniac
"Oh shut up flame brain! You haven't confessed to a certain someone!" Gray exclaimed
"Shut up Gray! You know why I haven't confessed to her yet!"
"Yeah cause your to scared to be rejected!"
"Fine I'll prove to you I'm not scared!"
He then stomped up to Lucy and smashed his lips onto hers
"See I told you I'm not scared!" He said turning to Gray
"That's not a confession!!" Gray yelled
"Fine!"
He turned to Lucy
"Lucy I like you, wanna go out?"
Lucy who was still dazed nodded
Natsu jumped in the air excitedly
"Take that Gray I confess before you did!!" Gray looked shocked
Meanwhile you saw Cana and Erza giving money to Mirajane
"You guys placed a bet on us?!" Natsu and Gray yelled
"Yeah and Romeo and Wendy, we were betting on who would confess first and Mirajane chose Romeo and Wendy"
Mirajane just smiled sweetly at Romeo and I and have us a hug
"Congratulations you two!! You didn't disappoint me!"
